WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Department of Justice will not bring charges against Baltimore police officers over the fatal injury of a black man in custody in an incident that stoked tensions between African Americans and law enforcement, federal officials said Tuesday.

A Justice Department criminal civil rights investigation into the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray has found “insufficient evidence” for any charges, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a statement.   Continue reading “No federal charges for Baltimore cops in Freddie Gray’s death”

When most people take a hard loss, whether it be a professional athlete, a huge stock loss, a losing poker hand or whatever, you get over it and move on, take your loss and shut your yap, you don’t continue to tell the world that you were cheated or screwed out of that big win. What Hillary doesn’t or refuses to understand is that she never had a chance; she was a looser before she brushed her teeth the morning she decided to run for president. No way on God’s green earth was she ever going to win a presidential election. Wasn’t in the cards, never has been, never will be. The Clinton family has been involved in too much controversy, mayhem and debauchery, simple as that.

Hillary just can’t keep her mouth shut. It’s like listening to a freshly incarcerated prison inmate, the jibber jabber that never ends, innocent as hell, how did this happen to me, why am I inside this place, I’m innocent! America has had to hear this crap now more than ever, if for nothing more than to circus bark her pathetic book.   Continue reading “Hillary Continues to Cry – Won’t Let it Go”

SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle Mayor Ed Murray announced his resignation Tuesday after a fifth man — one of his cousins — came forward and accused him of sexual abuse decades ago.

Murray, who had already announced that he would not seek a second term even as he denied wrongdoing, said he would step down effective 5 p.m. Wednesday.

“While the allegations against me are not true, it is important that my personal issues do not affect the ability of our City government to conduct the public’s business,” the Democrat said in a statement.   Continue reading “Seattle’s mayor resigns after 5th sex abuse claim emerges”

The Weekly Standard – by John McCormick

Earlier this year, the LA Times reported: “TSA quietly launches new ‘enhanced’ pat-down procedure.” The Times noted that TSA would not describe precisely how the new procedure is different from the old one: “TSA officials declined to detail the new universal procedure or the previous pat-down tactics, but the industry is bracing for passenger unhappiness about more invasive searches.”

For those curious about what the “enhanced” pat-down involves, I had a first-hand experience (no pun intended) Sunday evening September 10 in the Kansas City airport. (This is going exactly where you think it’s going, so feel free to stop reading right now.)  Continue reading “Hands On with the TSA’s New ‘Enhanced’ Pat-Down Procedure”

A top Israeli general tasked with writing his country’s defense policy has admitted that Israel cannot take on Iran’s military alone if the day should come that the regional powers face off in a direct military confrontation, Defense News reports.

“We cannot fight Iran alone,” Maj. Gen. Yair Golan, a former IDF deputy chief of staff and a candidate to become the next Israel Defense Forces chief of staff, told a think tank gathering on September 7. “They can affect us; we can affect them. It’s all about attrition. But if you want to gain something which is deeper, we cannot do it alone. This is a fact of life. It’s better to admit that.”   Continue reading “Top Israeli General Admits the Truth About Israel Going to War With Iran”

Walt Disney World in Florida has been accused of price-gouging for charging guests high prices while they were stuck in their hotels during Hurricane Irma.

Jennifer Bruns from Northbrook, Illinois, lashed out at the owners of the Orlando entertainment complex, whose sister park in California is known as the ‘happiest place on earth’, for selling expensive drinks and snacks to stranded people.

The theme park closed on Saturday following the forecast that the hurricane, which has left up to 4.5million Florida residents without electricity, would hit the state as a Category Five.   Continue reading “Disney accused of price-gouging water and food for residents stuck at their hotels while the park is closed”

WASHINGTON (AP) — Pushing toward the Republicans’ prime goal of tax legislation, the GOP Senate leader and members of the Budget Committee are scrambling to come up with a budget deal to clear the way for the first tax overhaul in three decades.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and GOP members of the Budget Committee are meeting Tuesday with two top Trump administration officials to plot breaking the budget stalemate. Lack of a budget plan for the 2018 fiscal year starting Oct. 1 is a roadblock to the must-do legislation overhauling the tax system that Republicans and President Donald Trump have made their highest priority. Trump’s top economic adviser, Gary Cohn, and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin are meeting with McConnell and budget panel members.   Continue reading “Senate GOP looking for budget deal to open way to tax redo”

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The engineer in a deadly Amtrak derailment is due in court for a preliminary hearing to determine if he’ll face trial on criminal charges that were filed only after a victim’s family intervened and a judge overruled city prosecutors.

They argued in court papers ahead of Tuesday’s hearing that the unusual circumstances leading to Bostian’s May arrest, as the statute of limitations loomed, had violated his due process rights.  Continue reading “Engineer in deadly Amtrak crash wants criminal case tossed”

Maryland Congressman Anthony Brown announced last week a bill he plans to introduce that, if enacted, would seek to curb hate speech in higher education.

At an event at the University of Maryland – College Park, the Democratic congressman — who recently stated that President Donald Trump is “unfit for office” and blamed the president for an increase in prejudicial behavior on college campuses nationwide — said the legislation would mandate universities to demonstrate they have the means to define “what is acceptable speech and what is not acceptable speech.”   Continue reading “Banning “not acceptable” speech: Rep. Almost ten days have passed since the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the allied forces managed to break the siege on Deir Ezzor city, which was maintained by terrorists since 2014. This date undoubtedly will be incorporated into school textbooks and immortalized forever for all the Syrians.

Unfortunately, besides the true allies of the Syrian government, neither Western states nor human rights organization has offered assistance to the residents of the liberated city. It seems that this significant event for the Syrians exactly gone unnoticed by the mass media around the world.   Continue reading “Syria must Independently Defeat Terrorism”
