SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Sixteen Democratic attorneys general pushed back Monday against a Texas lawsuit aimed at striking down former President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul. California Attorney General Xavier Becerra led 14 other states and the District of Columbia in filing a motion to intervene in the Texas case and defend the law, suggesting the Trump administration wouldn’t take such action.

“We’re taking this action to protect the health and financial security of millions of people in our country, as well as billions of dollars of federal funds that go to our states to make sure that we can afford the health care that our families need,” Becerra said at a news conference.  Continue reading “Democratic attorneys general fight Texas health care lawsuit”

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — After Utah passed the country’s first law legalizing so-called free-range parenting, groups in states from New York to Texas are pushing for similar steps to bolster the idea that supporters say is an antidote for anxiety-plagued parents and overscheduled kids.

Free-range parenting is the concept that giving kids the freedom to do things alone — like explore a playground or ride a bike to school — makes them healthier, happier and more resilient. It surfaced nearly a decade ago, when Lenore Skenazy touched off a firestorm with a column about letting her then-9-year-old son ride the New York City subway alone. Since then, she’s become a vocal advocate for free-range parenting.  Continue reading “Free-range parenting law eyed around US after Utah gets buzz”

Experts in radiological, chemical and biological warfare, as well as medics, on Monday inspected the parts of the Eastern Ghouta city of Douma, where an alleged chemical attack supposedly took place on Saturday, the Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria said in a statement.   Continue reading “No trace of chemical weapons at alleged attack site in Douma – Russian military”

Today is the 70th anniversary of the Deir Yassin massacre, one of many committed in the vicious frenzy of the Zionists’ land grab. Here is an account of that appalling event…..

Early in the morning of April 9, 1948, commandos of the Irgun (headed by Menachem Begin) and the Stern Gang attacked Deir Yassin, a village with about 750 Palestinian residents. The village lay outside of the area to be assigned by the United Nations to the Jewish State; it had a peaceful reputation. But it was located on high ground in the corridor between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Deir Yassin was slated for occupation under Plan Dalet and the mainstream Jewish defense force, the Haganah, authorized the irregular terrorist forces of the Irgun and the Stern Gang to perform the takeover.  Continue reading “Deir Yassin outrage remembered: 70th anniversary”

San Antonio, TX – Police have admitted that they shot and killed an elderly woman in an attempt to kill her mentally ill son during a standoff last month, an apparent mix-up they blamed on the fact that both mother and son were wearing red shirts.

As YouTube cracks down on peaceful channels, censors alternative media, and allows child exploitation videos to flourish, a coalition of 23 child advocacy group has come forward with damning claims against Google’s behemoth video hosting site. Vermont’s Republican Governor Phil Scott pledged to sign three new gun-control bills next week, making it easier for the state to confiscate firearms from certain people.

The first bill would make it easier to confiscate guns from someone considered to be at risk of harming themselves or others. The second allows the police to confiscate firearms from anyone whose been arrested or cited for domestic violence. The third bill would raise the gun purchase age to 21 and expand background checks. It would also ban bump stocks and high capacity magazines, according to WVNY.  Continue reading “New Gun Control Laws Spawn Second Amendment Protest In Vermont”

EDITOR’S NOTE: What started with a trickle of innovation technology to dazzle the eye has now become an all out flood as every major tech company on planet Earth makes a mad dash to wire your home with ‘always on’ audio and video surveillance listening devices. Remember how people said this day would never come? Well, it’s here. London’s violence continues to soar out of control after six teenagers were stabbed in 90 minutes during what’s being dubbed the “night of violence” in Great Britain’s gun-free capital. As the United Kingdom continues to punish self-defense, the criminals are free to wreak havoc on the city.

Most mainstream media outlets continue to fail to mention that much of United Kingdom is disarmed, and there have been some pretty stringent “knife-control” measures enacted as well to attempt to stop the surge in stabbings.  But none of their laws are helping, as criminals have figured out they are the only ones armed and those who even make an effort to defend their own lives or property will be prosecuted.
