MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Two U.S.-Mexico meetings have been held to work out details of a new plan to return across the shared border migrants seeking U.S. asylum, but Mexico will not accept anybody facing a credible threat back home, a Mexico Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
In a major policy change, U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration said on Dec. 20 it would send non-Mexican migrants who cross the U.S. southern border back to wait in Mexico while their U.S. asylum requests are processed. We had the opportunity to visit “The Ark Encounter” which is a replica of Noah’s Ark that is located in Williamstown, Kentucky. I wanted to visit the site since its completion in 2016. As I look back on our experience, I was not sure what to expect from this attraction. I suppose my initial thoughts were just the size of the ark, I never looked up the details, I hate to spoil the surprise. Roger Stone, a key ally of Donald Trump, has been arrested on charges of obstruction, witness tampering and making false statements, the office of the special counsel Robert Mueller has announced.
The indictment alleges that Stone made multiple attempts to contact WikiLeaks through an intermediary about documents stolen from the Democratic national committee and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and passed on information to Trump’s election campaign team about the leaked documents. After being refused a loan at a bank in Kazan, Russia, a young woman tried to convince the bank manager to approve the loan by stripping in front of him.
Yulia Kuzmina, who is reportedly in her mid-20s, went to a bank in Kazan, the capital city of The Republic of Tatarstan in western Russia, to secure a loan for a new car. She filled out all the necessary forms, but her application was denied after the bank’s analysis determined that she was an unreliable borrower. After pleading with the loan manager, Kuzmina decided it was time for desperate measures and started taking her clothes off in front of him. An off-duty police officer was accidentally shot and killed by another officer in St. Louis early Thursday morning, authorities said.
The accidental shooting occurred around 1 a.m. local time after two off-duty officers stopped by one of their homes during their shift. Officer Katlyn Alix, who was off-duty at the time, came by the residence and was shot in the chest, St. Louis Police Chief John Hayden Jr. told reporters at a press conference. In the America of today social justice warriors virtue signaling their tolerance for others have been repeatedly and quite often exposed for the bigots, sexists, and racists that they really are.
Take, for example, the following video provided by Brandon Farley via his Twitter page, in which a food cart lady parked at the PDX Women’s March in the hyper-tolerant city of Portland this past weekend refused service to an individual requesting a meal reportedly based on the fact that he is a male. American Airlines booted a family of three from their flight home after passengers allegedly complained about the group’s body odor.
On Wednesday evening, Yossi and Jennie Adler and their 19-month-old daughter were told to get off their plane from Miami to Detroit while they were in the midst of boarding. “All of a sudden, as soon as they took us off, they closed the gate and then they said, ‘Sorry, sir, some people complained you had body odor and we’re not letting you back on,’” Adler told local Florida station WPLG. A new, updated data set is now available on a psychological phenomenon that has been labeled “Trump Anxiety Disorder” or “Trump Hypersensitive Unexplained Disorder,” and it says that the phenomenon only got worse in 2018. The disorder is described as a specific type of anxiety in which symptoms “were specific to the election of Trump and the resultant unpredictable sociopolitical climate,” and according to the 2018 surveys Americans are feeling significantly more stressed by the future of their country and the current political environment than they were last year. THERE ARE SIGNS that U.S. opinion might be shifting on Israel and its illegal occupation of the Palestinian territories. Democrats and younger U.S. voters, including young Jewish voters, are shifting to a more pro-Palestine position, according to recent polls. There are now two members of Congress — Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar — who openly support the boycott, divestment, and sanctions movement against Israel. At the same time, the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute in Alabama, under pressure from local pro-Israeli Jewish groups, recently rescinded a human rights award they’d bestowed on civil rights icon Angela Davis because of her support for BDS. When a viral video showed a white teenaged boy from a Catholic private school standing and smiling at a Native American elder beating a ceremonial drum, the internet immediately assumed the worst.
Nick Sandmann, a 15-year-old from Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky, was wearing a Make America Great Again hat and his rowdy peers were shouting. Media coverage asserted this was another outbreak of white supremacy and privilege in America with only President Donald Trump to blame. A proposal to give green cards — and thus eventual United States citizenship — to at least 700,000 illegal aliens could trigger a “chain migration” of more than four million foreign nationals arriving in the country.
As Breitbart News reported, White House adviser Jared Kushner and a handful of Republican Senators have reportedly floated the idea to secure a fifth of border wall funding by giving green cards to the roughly 700,000 illegal aliens enrolled in President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The US Supreme Court said it will hear its biggest gun rights case in nearly decade — one that seeks to undercut New York City rules sharply limiting gun owners from carrying firearms outside of their homes.
