Stephen Nichols is an 84-year old Korean War veteran who served as a police officer of Tisbury, Massachusetts for six decades. He’s been employed as a school crossing guard of the Tisbury School, until recent termination as a result of the same unclear incident that’s resulted in the red flag gun seizure executed against him. Fort Worth police announced at a news conference Monday that the officer who shot and killed a woman in her home Saturday has resigned.

The Trump administration released a new proposed rule on Tuesday aimed at letting restaurant owners pay less to their workers under the guise of “flexibility.”

Authorities in Southern Mexico detained hundreds of African, Caribbean and Central American migrants who were heading north Sunday as part of an up to 2,000-person caravan aiming to reach the United States.
The group set out before sunrise Saturday from the town of Tapachula, Mexico, where many had been marooned for months unsuccessfully trying to get transit visas. They carried heavy backpacks, babies and parcels on their heads. Chinese dictator Xi Jinping threatened anti-communist dissidents with a gruesome death in remarks Sunday during a visit to Nepal, warning that anyone defying China’s illegal territorial claims will have “their bodies smashed and bones ground to powder.”
Xi’s barbaric remarks follow the revelation that the Communist Party, under his orders, is razing ancient Uyghur cemeteries in western China and leaving sprawling empty lots full of broken shards of bones, the remains of those hastily exhumed in the process of destroying the graveyards.
