Zebbie Geller didn’t cry. She accepted that chemotherapy and its side effects would not allow her to live the independent, busy life the grandmother and retired teacher had so carefully cultivated, her son, Paul Geller said.
She wanted to plan her death — down to the final moments. Continue reading “N.J. woman used new law to end her life. ‘I’m ready, let’s do it.’”
Ever since I’ve been associated with this site I’ve been blessed with becoming in tune with members here that are driven, people that don’t take no for an answer. When I first started talking with Henry, he opened my eyes to a world that basically is anything you want it to be, but you’re going to have to fight to get it. Why fight you ask? Because everything that was supposed to be has been stolen from us. Continue reading “Failure Is Not An Option”

A recent Texas plane crash was caused by a gender reveal stunt gone wrong, officials with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said Friday.
The pilot of the plane was flying low in the town of Turkey, Texas, near the Oklahoma border when it released 350 gallons of pink water for the gender reveal, causing the plane to stall mid-air, according to a report from the NTSB. When a Waffle House restaurant was short-staffed, late-night customers kindly took over, taking orders and bussing tables.
The unique scene in Birmingham, Alabama was photographed on November 2 by patron Ethan Crispo who had stopped in the restaurant around 12:30 a.m. to order breakfast. “It was incredible to witness,” Crispo tells Yahoo Lifestyle. Iran is acknowledging for the first time it has an open case before its Revolutionary Court over the 2007 disappearance of a former FBI agent on an unauthorized CIA mission to the country.
In a filing to the United Nations, Iran said the case over Robert Levinson was ‘on going,’ without elaborating, but the development has renewed questions over what happened to him. Continue reading “Iran says case open on ex-FBI agent missing there on CIA job”

Benjamin Schreiber is very much alive. But that hasn’t stopped him from arguing that he died four years ago.
After the convicted murderer collapsed in his prison cell in 2015, doctors restarted his heart five times. Recovering back at the Iowa State Penitentiary, Schreiber filed a novel legal appeal. Because he died before he was resuscitated, he had technically fulfilled his life sentence, he claimed. Continue reading “An inmate claimed his life sentence ended when he ‘died’ and was revived. An Iowa court disagrees.”

Know County, IN —The average rate of families who experience domestic violence in the country is around 10 percent. However, when we look at police officer families, the 10 percent number quadruples. As the National Center for Women and Policing points out, two studies have found that at least 40% of police officer families experience domestic violence. It happens so often that it is not even reported on in the media any more unless the case is utterly horrifying — like the one below. BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) — Ten people at an Oklahoma care facility for people with intellectual disabilities were hospitalized after they were apparently accidentally injected with what’s believed to be insulin rather than flu shots, authorities said.

The youthful Second Amendment supporter who made national headlines has reached a plea deal with the Green County Prosecutor. Dmitriy N. Andreychenko conducted his advocacy in a Missouri Walmart on 8 August, 2019, less than a week after a mass murder in an El Paso, Texas Walmart on 3 August, 2019.
Andreychenko wore body armor, had an unloaded, slung AR-15 type rifle, and a loaded, holstered pistol. He took a shopping cart into the Walmart while videoing himself on his phone. Police arrested Dmitriy on a charge of a terrorist threat in the first degree. The prosecutor initially charged him with a terrorist threat in the second degree. I predicted the prosecutor would not charge him with a first degree threat. The conduct did not match the charge. Continue reading “Dmitriy N.
