I got out my acoustic last week to re-acquaint my fingers with the strings and picking to work out a song I intend to play with my sons for my brother, who is yet to be laid to rest in peace and the plan we have devised to do so is now scattered as the fires that appeared out of nowhere overnight. Nearly 130 Austrians have been stunned to receive $1,200 cheques signed by none other than US President Donald Trump. Washington’s sudden generosity appears to be a result of a mistake in its Covid-19 relief package system.
Citizens of the small Alpine nation, located thousands of miles away from America, were baffled by the envelopes containing what was described as economic relief money from the US. I recently described how a swarm of drones flew in a restricted area at Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant on two successive nights last September. A new cache of documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act (FoIA) reveals how 24 nuclear sites suffered at least 57 drone incursions from 2015 to 2019 – and Palo Verde itself was overflown again in December, despite new security measures. We have been up all night watching a wildfire and I’m just not up to it.
Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth revealed yesterday that Tel Aviv demanded compensation in return for the US-UAE arms deal which would see the Emirates provided with F-35 fighter jets.
The newspaper said that the Israeli security establishment is now discussing the compensation package that Israel will demand, adding that among the options being examined is advancing the date for the supply of advanced American weapons systems to Israel by one year. A dangerous wildfire, pushed by strong winds through dry grass and timber, continues to burn near Chiloquin.

Delaware County, NJ — On April 3, Stephen Dolceamore, 29, of Delaware County, was in need of medical attention. He was reportedly in the midst of a mental health crisis when police officers responded to a call about him. Instead of “help” however, Dolceamore received a savage beating and would die as a result. Dolceamore would spend his last moments alive, face down in a dirt strip in a hotel parking lot, begging for help as cops squeezed the life from his body.
Outside of the release of the body camera footage — six months after the incident — police have released very few details about the case, including all the video which shows what happened before Dolceamore was on the ground and the results of the autopsy.
