New York Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie announced on Tuesday that they have reached an agreement to strip Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo of the emergency powers that he was given during the pandemic which comes as he faces two political scandals that threaten to end his political career.

The New York State Legislature gave Cuomo the expanded powers to allow him to respond faster to the coronavirus pandemic that devastated the state last Spring. The emergency powers granted Cuomo greater authority to issue executive orders and were already set to expire at the end of April, but the legislators moved to revoke the powers immediately as Cuomo faces a scandal over his handling of nursing homes and over allegations that he sexually harassed women at work. Albuquerque, NM — Last month, Abortion Free New Mexico released a report on a woman from Michigan, who at 28 weeks of pregnancy, received the first dose of Pfizer’s BioNTech vaccine. She later delivered a nonviable 29-week old baby. Her baby had no heartbeat within three days of the vaccine and she reported the stillbirth directly to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) website attributing the vaccine to her baby’s death. A social media comedian was arrested in an explosive FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force raid yesterday morning.

Paul N. Miller, a 32-year-old Romani entertainer who uses the moniker “GypsyCrusader,” was snatched from his home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida ostensibly over committing a gun offense three years ago.

Neighbors expressed that they were more terrorized by the brutality of the FBI’s militarized arrest, which included tossing flashbangs into his room, than at Miller’s behavior, which was described as low key.

The Ford SUV that was carrying ’25 illegal immigrants’ as it pulled out in front of a semi-truck in southern California early on Tuesday morning had seats removed to allow for more people to be packed in, according to new reports.

The number of threats made to lawmakers has almost doubled in the first two months of 2021 compared to last year, acting head of Capitol Police revealed Wednesday, as fallout ensues following the Capitol riots on January 6.

Sixteen new bills to form publicly-owned banks or facilitate their formation were introduced in eight U.S. states just in January and February. There’s yet more significant escalation in Iraq as it appears pro-Iranian militia forces may have ‘hit back’ in a potential retaliation strike against US forces, as the Pentagon has confirmed at least ten rockets were fired on the the Ain al-Asad airbase in Iraq’s Anbar province Wednesday morning.

There were initial reports of no casualties and Iraq’s military reported “no significant losses”. The House voted Friday to cordon off nearly three million acres of Western land in the name of environmental protection, overriding Republicans who called it a “massive land grab” that will kill jobs, increase wildfire danger and reduce access to public lands.

The Protecting America’s Wilderness and Public Lands Act, approved by a vote of 227 to 200, combined eight Democrat-sponsored bills to create another 1.49 million aces of federal wilderness, including more than 1,000 river miles, and withdraw 1.2 million acres from new oil and mining claims. El CENTRO, Calif. (AP) — A semitruck on Tuesday crashed into an SUV carrying 25 people on a Southern California highway, killing 13 people and leaving others injured, authorities said.

California Highway Patrol Chief Omar Watson said 12 people died at the scene, which is about 11 miles (18 kilometers) north of the U.S.-Mexico border, and another died after arriving at the hospital. LAS CRUCES – A Doña Ana County Detention Center officer facing termination for declining a COVID-19 vaccination is suing county manager Fernando Macias and detention center officials over the mandate.
