Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Thursday signed an executive order prohibiting mask mandates or COVID-19 vaccine requirements from government agencies and municipalities statewide.

Abbott issued the order Thursday, two days after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended indoor mask mandates, regardless of vaccination status, in places with at least 50 confirmed COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people over the previous seven days. I am a 32 year female old who is married with a toddler.

I am a hospital pharmacist and wanted to do my part to end the pandemic. My life has been forever changed since I decided to get the Pfizer Covid vaccine on 12/18/20. I immediately started having symptoms of dizziness and fast heart rate followed by chest pain. After 6 1/2 months consisting of 2 ER visits and multiple specialists visits I am left with full body spasms, hand tremors, dizziness, tachycardia, hair loss, severe nausea, abnormally heavy menstrual cycles, chest pain, rib swelling and severe pain. LONDON (AP) — AstraZeneca said Thursday that it intends to seek U.S. approval for its COVID-19 vaccine later this year, further delaying the application even as the company announced it had already delivered more than 1 billion doses to other countries.

The Anglo-Swedish drugmaker said the application has been delayed because it has decided to ask the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for full regulatory approval, rather than the fast-track emergency use authorization originally anticipated. As part of this “biologics license application,” the FDA has requested extensive data from clinical trials around the world, as well as data on real world use of the vaccine.
