Back in the 16th century, French astrologer Nostradamus predicted that there would be a zombie apocalypse in the year 2021. And now that it’s actually 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention want to make sure you’re prepared…just in case.

The CDC recently updated the Zombie Preparedness section on its website — yes, this is a thing. The Iranian Foreign Ministry says the United States is resorting to blame game to try and deflect attention from its crimes in Yemen, including its deadly arms support for the Saudi-led invaders of the impoverished country.

NEW YORK – With the limited resumption of sporting events at venues in New York, Madison Square Garden and the Barclays Center will be used as testing grounds for a new digital pass that could confirm the owner’s COVID status.  It will confirm an individual’s vaccination or recent negative coronavirus test.

Petoskey, MI — A Michigan farm owner’s desire to help animals in need has landed her in jail and the animals she was helping, killed. Kei Ju Farm and Rescue owner Julie Hall did not pay the government for the proper permit before helping animals so officials arrested her and then killed her animals.

Because there is no animal rescue in Petoskey, for years, Hall has been rescuing both wild and domestic animals and nursing them back to health. She has years of experience in the field and has a farm where she carries out the rehabilitation. She was well-known in the community for providing this service. On Friday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted Emergency Use Authorization for Johnson & Johnson’s (J&J) COVID vaccine, paving the way for the one-shot vaccine to be administered beginning this week.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) also recommended the vaccine for people 18 and older. On Sunday, J&J revealed plans to test its one-shot vaccine on infants, including newborns, pregnant women and the immunocompromised. The expanded clinical trials were laid out in the company’s application for emergency use approval and in briefing materials provided to the FDA and discussed briefly during the meeting. New York Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie announced on Tuesday that they have reached an agreement to strip Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo of the emergency powers that he was given during the pandemic which comes as he faces two political scandals that threaten to end his political career.

The New York State Legislature gave Cuomo the expanded powers to allow him to respond faster to the coronavirus pandemic that devastated the state last Spring. The emergency powers granted Cuomo greater authority to issue executive orders and were already set to expire at the end of April, but the legislators moved to revoke the powers immediately as Cuomo faces a scandal over his handling of nursing homes and over allegations that he sexually harassed women at work. She later delivered a nonviable 29-week old baby. Paul N. Miller, a 32-year-old Romani entertainer who uses the moniker “GypsyCrusader,” was snatched from his home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida ostensibly over committing a gun offense three years ago.

Neighbors expressed that they were more terrorized by the brutality of the FBI’s militarized arrest, which included tossing flashbangs into his room, than at Miller’s behavior, which was described as low key.
