Tomorrow June 8^th 2017 Is the50^th  anniversary of the day that the USS Liberty was attacked by Israel in international waters on June 8^th 1967.  

34 Americans lost their lives and 171 were wounded in the attempt to sink the ship.

In 1989 The USS Liberty Memorial Public Library was dedicated in Grafton, Wisconsin in 1989

There is a memorial room that is open to the public for those who wish to see it. There is also a ships bell to ring and memorabilia left by the 60 survivors of the Liberty who came to the library’s dedication in 1989.
