Kraft Recalls 6.5 Million Boxes of Macaroni and Cheese Because It Might Have Metal Pieces in It

Nutritional Anarchy – by Melissa Melton

This is the state of modern food in a country where 96–98 percent of the people rely on the other 2–4 percent for food production and giant megacorporations make everything the majority of the nation’s people eat in giant industrial factories.

Kraft, the company we called in 2013 to ask if their Macaroni and Cheese contained genetically modified wheat and the customer service person couldn’t tell us, is currently recalling a whopping 242,000 cases of their flagship Macaroni & Cheese Dinner product in the classic blue boxes — I recorded that video in the middle of the night last night before I even realized that is equal to 6.5 MILLION BOXES.

Why?

Via Fox:

Kraft Foods is recalling approximately 242,000 cases of its trademark original flavor Macaroni & Cheese dinners because some boxes may contain small metal pieces, the company said in a statement Tuesday.

Affected products include 7.25-ounce boxes as well as 3-pack boxes, 4-pack and 5-pack wrapped boxes of 7.25-ounce servings of the family favorite.

The company reports affected boxes were stamped with ‘Best if used by’ dates of September 18 through October 11, 2015, with the code ‘C2′ directly below the date on each box.

Again, things like this only happen when your food — the thing you put into your body in order to live — is created in giant, faceless industrial factories.

Did any love or care go into preparing this box of food at all?

How personal is this “product?”

What kind of a place is this much food made in if this many cases of it could be tainted with METAL SHAVINGS?

How dangerous is a food system that periodically has to alert its customers to such a thing?

And worse, how many people and their children have been consuming dinners laced with potentially dangerous metal pieces in it?

As mentioned earlier, we called Kraft back in 2013, and aside from the customer service person reading to us from a script prompt about how they use biotech ingredients in their food (read: GMO), the lady on the other end of the line couldn’t even confirm whether or not genetically modified wheat, which is not licensed for sale legally in the United States by the way, was in the macaroni and cheese or not.

The company was so disconnected to their own food products, they simply don’t know what’s even in there.

At least, that is what any of their customers should be thinking to themselves when it comes to light that the company has to recall a quarter of a million boxes of their food because OOPS it might accidentally be filled with metal shavings.

This is what happens when control of the nation’s food source gets more and more consolidated and controlled by a handful of megacorporations and people give away all their power over what they are eating.

Because, in America today, the majority of everything the average person puts in their mouths can be traced back to a grand total of just ten giant companies.
