  1. Minneapolis Police Misconduct Cases Receive Hit-or-Miss Reviews:

The Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights received more than 250 complaints against officers last year, according to a city report released last month. However, the Police Conduction Oversight Commission (PCOC), one of two panels that reviews complaints, only receives 10 randomly selected case write-ups from a city hall staffer who uses a computer program to generate which 10 cases are up for review.

Then, only three of those 10 cases are actually up for public discussion at the monthly meetings, a system voted in place by the commission in 2013.

It’s a system that leaves people, such as Shawn Davis, wondering whether their cases of alleged police brutality will ever be heard by a commission that is supposed to ensure police credibility and transparency exists throughout the department.

Mayor Slams Minneapolis Police Union Head’s ‘Jackass Remarks’

Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges condemned “jackass remarks” made by the leader of the city’s police union, who praised officers for walking off the job at a Minnesota Lynx basketball game.

Four Minneapolis police officers walked off duty prior to the start of the Minnesota Lynx game at the Target Center on Saturday in response to players’ decision to wear “Black Lives Matter” pregame jerseys that also included the Dallas Police logo on the back.

The jersey’s front said, “Change Starts With Us, Justice & Accountability”

Two days later, Bob Kroll, president of the Minneapolis Police Federation, stated in an interview that he “commended” the officers for leaving their post and predicted other officers would do the same, according to a Star Tribune report.

He also said that only four officers worked the Saturday game because the Lynx, a Women’s National Basketball Association team, are a “pathetic draw.”

    1. Pigs are so disgusting. They want to be able to brutalize people with impunity, but whenever someone calls them on it, their poor wittle pwecious feewings are hurt, and they turn into a bunch of crybabies. As I’ve pointed out in the past, their tribalism is very similar to that of Jews.

The recruiting video is cheesy but seems harmless enough. Its major flaw is its failure to point out that to be a cop you need to give up your conscience, assuming you have one to begin with when they recruit you.

  2. “It’s a good place to be”

It’s ALWAYS a ‘good place to be’ – the handle end of a weapon, with virtually zero-accountability.
    .

  3. Cops are being used as the enforcers for the corporation, criminals.

No one cares for them REALLY, just like the military. Useful idiots, all.
