An Oklahoma man on the run for the past week after a shooting spree that left two dead and four others wounded has been killed in a shootout with police in western Oklahoma. One deputy sheriff was shot, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Oklahoma County sheriff John Whetsel told ABC News that the deputy shot in the incident is expected to survive. The officer is a Dewey County sheriff’s deputy. He was transported to Elk City Hospital.
Michael Vance, the 38-year-old subject of a week-long manhunt, was charged with two counts of murder on Friday after a spree of crimes that began on Sunday, October 23. Tonight’s shootout took place after a car matching the description of the one Vance allegedly stole was spotted near a campsite north of the town of Hammon in a rural part of western Oklahoma.
Vance sparked a nationwide manhunt after allegedly going on a shooting rampage that included the wounding of two police officers, the suspected murders of his aunt and uncle as well as the shooting of a man in an attempted carjacking.
wow.. Look at that mug. It was just a matter of time before he killed someone. (I’m a big fan of physiognomy)
Well at least he wounded a couple of cops before they got him.

That’s a shame. Hopefully he’ll at least be permanently handicapped.
