ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WITN/AP/WBTV) – A judge ruled Wednesday that body camera video of the fatal officer-involved shooting of Andrew Brown Jr. should be disclosed to Brown’s family, but not released publicly.
The court denied the media request to release the body cam video, finding that the media does not qualify to seek release under the law.
Federal investigators have executed a search warrant on former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, seizing electronic devices, according to a report from the New York Times.
The raid on Giuliani, who has served as a personal attorney for former President Donald Trump, comes as federal authorities were investigating whether Giuliani violated the law by lobbying the Trump administration on behalf of Ukrainian officials in 2019. A US Navy ship fired warning shots after three armed Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN) fast-attack boats came “unnecessarily close” to it and another American ship in the Persian Gulf on Monday evening, 5th Fleet said Tuesday.
At around 8 pm on Monday, the IRGCN speed boats closed rapidly with the US Navy coastal patrol ship USS Firebolt and the US Coast Guard patrol boat USCGC Baranoff, which were conducting maritime security operations in international waters. While the so-called COVID Commission Planning Group — set up to create and support an investigative commission like that for 9/11 — is advertised as a nonpartisan effort, you really couldn’t come up with a more dangerously biased set of participants. In what is believed to be the first reported case of its kind in a male, a 30-year-old Bay Area man is being treated for a blood clot disorder he developed after receiving the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) COVID vaccine, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
The man was vaccinated April 8, and a week later experienced increasing lower back and leg pain. He was hospitalized at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) medical center where he received treatment “which includes intravenous immune globulin, the anticoagulant argatroban and prednisone,” UCSF spokeswoman Suzanne Leigh said in a statement Monday. SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Oregon Gov. Kate Brown said Tuesday rising COVID-19 hospitalizations threaten to overwhelm doctors, and she is moving 15 counties into the extreme risk category, which imposes restrictions that include banning indoor restaurant dining.

BRADENTON – A Bradenton family has been indicted and charged by a federal grand jury in Miami for selling industrial bleach as a “miracle” cure for COVID-19.
The grand jury returned the indictment on Friday, charging Bradenton residents Mark Grenon, 62, and each of his three sons – Jonathan Grenon, 34, Jordan Grenon, 26, and Joseph Grenon, 32 – with one count of conspiracy to commit fraud and two counts of criminal contempt.
