A college “coronavirus party” featuring surgical masks and chilled Corona beers has prompted anger from some on campus.

The University at Albany is investigating whether the off-campus party last weekend violated its student code of conduct after the Asian American Alliance at the school became offended by the party theme, calling it “not funny and completely insensitive.”  Continue reading “Coronas and surgical masks: Coronavirus-themed party prompts university investigation”

The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday night that the Department of Homeland Security will let in as many as 111,000 seasonal guest workers this summer. This would mark the highest level under President Donald Trump; last year, an additional 30,000 guest workers above the threshold of 66,000 were allowed in. US weapons worth $715 million dollars were warehoused poorly and soldiers handling them did not keep receipts or records, so it’s impossible to tell how many, if any, ended up in the wrong hands, the Pentagon says.

Supply units in Kuwait and elsewhere “did not maintain comprehensive lists of all equipment purchased and received” or “stored weapons outside in metal shipping containers, exposing the equipment to harsh environmental elements, such as heat and humidity.”  Continue reading “Pentagon expects US public to buy ‘we weren’t keeping inventory’ excuse about missing weapons sent to Syria, Iraq”

BELLEVUE, WA – -(AmmoLand.com)- Anti-gun billionaire Michael Bloomberg is continuing what appears to be an attempted “leveraged buyout” of the Second Amendment as Everytown for Gun Safety—the group he co-founded and bankrolled—has pledged to spend $8 million in Texas; just part of the $60 million that group has vowed to spend in order to elect anti-rights politicians this fall.

That’s the observation from the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Former New York City Mayor Bloomberg, seeking to buy his way into the White House by running for president as a Democrat, has weaponized his vast wealth to buy an election.
