West Africa — Following an internal investigation, the Red Cross has reported that during its 2014-2016 Ebola operations in West Africa — operations the organization says were among the “most complex in recent humanitarian history” — around $6 million of its funding was lost through fraud committed by its own staff.

It is becoming increasingly more common for the corporate media to pay attention to the dollar’s dying status as the world reserve currency. The media can no longer realistically ignore developments that ultimately chip away at the dollar piece by piece considering Russia, China, and Iran have become brazen about their intentions to erode the dominant currency in the not-too-distant future.

While Anti-Media has documented the decline of the dollar throughout the course of the year as a result of a number of significant geopolitical decisions, there is still one major elephant in the room that needs to be addressed. The federal government should provide extended protective status to 300,000 non-citizens living in the United States, says a top John Kelly-appointee at President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security.

The proposed temporary amnesty comes from James (Jim) D. WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Three U.S. aircraft carrier strike groups will exercise together in the Western Pacific in the coming days in a rare show of force as President Donald Trump visits Asia with warnings about the nuclear threat from North Korea, U.S. officials say.

According to a new report from The Hill, early drafts of former FBI Director James Comey’s statement on Hillary Clinton’s email case accused the former Secretary of State of “gross negligence” in her handling of classified information as opposed to the “extremely careless” phrase that made its way into the final statement.

Following the death of Prince Mansour bin-Muqrin in a helicopter crash near the Yemen border yesterday, the Saudi Royal Court has confirmed the death of Prince Abdul Aziz bin Fahd – killed during a firefight as authorities attempted to arrest him.

The death has been confirmed by the Saudi royal court.

SUTHERLAND SPRINGS, Texas — The gunman who opened fire in a small Texas church, killing 26 people during worship services, sent threatening text messages to his mother-in-law before the attack, which appeared to stem from a domestic situation, authorities said Monday.

The “Fat Leonard” corruption investigation has expanded to include more than 60 admirals and hundreds of other U.S. Navy officers under scrutiny for their contacts with a defense contractor in Asia who systematically bribed sailors with sex, liquor and other temptations, according to the Navy.

Most of the admirals are suspected of attending extravagant feasts at Asia’s best restaurants paid for by Leonard Glenn Francis, a Singapore-based maritime tycoon who made an illicit fortune supplying Navy vessels in ports from Vladivostok, Russia to Brisbane, Australia. A US service member has been killed during operations in Afghanistan’s eastern province of Logar on Saturday, according to the US military. It is the same region where another soldier was killed in a helicopter crash last week.

The US Forces Afghanistan Command in Kabul confirmed the fatality in a statement, without giving details of the deceased’s identity or the circumstances of his death.
