Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is not a nutrient, vitamin, or mineral and has no absolutely no health benefits. It is a processed food and pharmaceutical additive that is an extremely dangerous neurotoxin (excitotoxin) that kills brain cells in the hypothalamus and has been linked to migraines, seizures, ADD/ADHD, heart palpitations and is now officially officially linked to obesity and disorders associated with metabolic syndrome including progressive liver disease. What is more shocking is that it’s found in three types of foods most people are not even aware of. Continue reading “3 Types of Foods You Probably Didn’t Know Have MSG”
It is an honor for me to be here in Western Massachusetts today, in the shadow of the Springfield Armory, on ground trod by the men of Shay’s Rebellion, on this anniversary of Flag Day.
You know, as we stand here today in the Northeast, we are at ground zero of the greatest, the grimmest battle for Second Amendment rights in the country’s history since 1775. And it is appropriate that this is taking place on the same ground as the Founders struggled and fought and bled and died on. This is, to the rest of us in the country, wholly unexpected. We in the South and West long ago wrote off your states — Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York — as hopelessly overrun with collectivist nanny staters. And yet, since Sandy Hook, you have shown the rest of us how to fight, how to face the enemy, how to resist. In a very real sense you are behind enemy lines. And yet . . . Saturday, June 14, 2014, around 10AM while having breakfast, this writer was listening to KYW 1060 All News Radio, a CBS affiliate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when to her great surprise she heard a news report that caught her off-guard. Why off-guard? Well, it was a report, plus statistic, regarding measles and the percentage of those contracting the disease who are fully vaccinated. Paraphrasing, the report went something like this, since she cannot locate it on the Internet or KYW’s home page:

Bostonians have been checking out the “ONE WORD” campaign in their subway system, describing Israel’s crimes against Palestinians. The ad campaign was launched this week by Ads Against Apartheid (AAA), a local Boston-based nonprofit. Continue reading “Boston Subway Ads Depicting Violence Against Palestine Shock Commuters”
Know your rights
When researching this story, I couldn’t find the details of what happened here exactly or where it occurred, but what you can see on the video is a clear violation of an elderly man’s rights, after what looks to be a serious roll over car crash. policecrimecom, who posted the video, gives some wonderful information about maintaining your right to remain silent, when dealing with the police. You must say clearly, I choose to remain silent.
The Supreme Court has recommended invoking your right to remain silent and not to talk to officer until you’ve consulted an attorney. The moral of this video is to know your rights and invoke them if necessary to protect yourself and your family. Continue reading “Police Abuse Old Man After Roll Over Car Crash”
US health officials are on high alert as a mosquito-borne virus that yet has no cure has struck six of the US states. The virus called chikungunya causes severe joint pain which can last for years.
The latest case of the virus has been confirmed by Tennessee officials as the resident of Madison County, has been tested positive for the virus. The officials, however, added that there was no transmission to other residents in the state. Continue reading “Incurable chikungunya virus spreads in US, at least 6 states affected”
JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli troops on Sunday arrested some 80 Palestinians, including dozens of members of Hamas, in an overnight raid in the West Bank as the prime minister accused the Islamic militant group of kidnapping three teenagers who went missing nearly three days ago.
The crisis escalated already heightened tensions between Israel and the new Palestinian government, which is headed by Western-backed President Mahmoud Abbas but backed by Hamas. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has condemned Abbas’ agreement with the militant group, and said he would hold him responsible for the safety of the youths, who disappeared apparently while hitchhiking in the West Bank late Thursday. The three, one of whom holds American citizenship, have not been heard from since then. Continue reading “Israel PM says Hamas kidnapped missing teens”
BAGHDAD (AP) — As the Iraqi government bolstered Baghdad’s defenses Sunday, the Islamic militant group that captured two major cities last week posted graphic photos that appeared to show its fighters massacring dozens of captured Iraqi soldiers.
The pictures on a militant website appear to show masked fighters of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL, loading the captives onto flatbed trucks before forcing them to lie face-down in a shallow ditch with their arms tied behind their backs. The final images show the bodies of the captives soaked in blood after being shot. Continue reading “Militants post images of mass killing in Iraq”
NEW YORK (AP) — Some carried photos of loved ones cut down by a bullet. Others held signs imploring Congress to act. And nearly all shouted out “Not one more,” a tear-stained rallying cry embraced by those who believe the U.S. needs tougher gun control laws.
More than 1,000 demonstrators — including nearly 100 from Newtown, Connecticut, the site of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting rampage — marched across the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday, demanding that action be taken to stem the recent wave of mass shootings across the U.S. Continue reading “Gun control group marches across Brooklyn Bridge”
One thing that has become quite common in discussions about the possible collapse of our society is for people to romanticize what the world will look like. With the government gone, people think they’ll be free to do as they they please. They assume that, while the world as we know it will most certainly change, the system will remain fairly stable. Most of us want to believe there will be trading posts to replace grocery stores, that we’ll be able to produce our own food without being bothered, that community groups will defend our interests, and that our home defense armaments will be sufficient to repel looters. Casey Kasem, a radio voice who connected generations of Americans to thousands of rock and pop acts, died Sunday morning, according to multiple media outlets. He was 82.
Kerri Kasem, Casey’s daughter, announced the news on her Facebook page.
“Early this Father’s Day morning, our dad Casey Kasem passed away surrounded by family and friends. Even though we know he is in a better place and no longer suffering, we are heartbroken,” she wrote in a Facebook post. “Thank you for all your love, support and prayers. The world will miss Casey Kasem, an incredible talent and humanitarian; we will miss our Dad.” Continue reading “Radio icon Casey Kasem dies at 82”
Recall that Hillary did her college thesis on his writings and Obama writes about him in his books. Saul Alinsky died about 42 years ago, but his writings influenced those in political control of our nation today.
There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important.
1) Healthcare– Control healthcare and you control the people Continue reading “How to Create a Social State by Saul Alinsky”
The citizens of the United States still do not know why their government destroyed Iraq. “National Security” will prevent them from ever knowing. “National Security” is the cloak behind which hides the crimes of the US government.
George Herbert Walker Bush, a former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency who became President courtesy of being picked as Ronald Reagan’s Vice President, was the last restrained US President. When Bush the First attacked Iraq it was a limited operation, the goal of which was to evict Saddam Hussein from his annexation of Kuwait. Continue reading “Washington’s Iraq “Victory””
Common Dreams – by Shamus Cook
The fall of Iraq’s second largest city, Mosul, to an al-Qaeda linked militia elicited a curiously muted response from the Obama administration. Yes, Obama “denounced” the terrorist invasion, but when the Iraqi government asked for U.S. airstrikes to repel perhaps the most powerful terrorist group in the world, Obama thus far refused, only hinting at some form of aid in the yet-to-be-determined future.
This is perhaps the first time Obama has initially refused such an offer from an allied government. Indeed, he’s suspected to have approved airstrikes in 8 other countries under the guise of fighting terrorism. So why the hesitation?
