Rep. Amash: "Washington Elites Fear Liberty"The New American – by Jack Kenny

When the White House and the National Security Agency went all out to defeat Rep. Justin Amash’s amendment to cut funding for NSA’s massive collection and storage of Americans’ telephone records, the Michigan Republican cited that opposition as a point in favor of passing the measure.

“When’s the last time a president put out an emergency statement against an amendment?” Amash (shown) tweeted late Tuesday night. “The Washington elites fear liberty. They fear you.” On Wednesday, the House narrowly defeated his amendment 207-217, much closer than the White House would have liked.   Continue reading “Rep. Amash: “Washington Elites Fear Liberty””

President Obama’s Defense Department is waging a private war.  While our Pentagon is entrusted with the duty to “protect and serve” a secular zone is growing within the ranks of the Military.

A little over a year ago then Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced the Military would honor through “Gay Pride Month” the contributions of homosexual service members.  This announcement came just a few months after the Department of Defense had begun its subtle campaign against the Bible.   Continue reading “Gays in, Bibles out in the new American military”

Polling has shown consistently that the mainstream media is no longer trusted to report accurately and those same polls show that an overwhelming majority believes the MSM has a political agenda.

Examples range from inaccurate reporting from CNN on the Boston Marathon bombings, to deliberately misleading edits on audio 911 calls by NBC over the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin situation.   Continue reading “Alternative Media Activists Attacked And Set Up With Child Porn… Again”

Two new polls are out today (one national, the other in California) which underscore just how unimpressed Americans are with the president’s job performance. MADRID (AP) — A passenger train derailed Wednesday night on a curvy stretch of track in northwestern Spain, killing at least 40 people caught inside toppled cars and injuring at least 140 in the country’s worst rail accident in decades, officials said.

Bodies were covered in blankets next to the tracks and rescue workers tried to get trapped people out of the train’s cars, with smoke billowing from some of the wreckage. Some passengers were pulled out of broken windows, and one man stood atop a carriage lying on its side, using a pickaxe to try to smash through a window. Images showed one car pointing up into the air with one of its ends twisted and disfigured, and another severed in two.   Continue reading “Spain passenger train derails, killing at least 40”

“Buying and owning a gun is the right of each and every American. Frankly the federal government has been stepping all over that right and it’s time to rein it in…The government has no business tracking the gun purchases of law-abiding citizens. American’s should not be placed on a watch list for simply exercising their constitutional rights. President Obama should focus his attention on criminals rather than honest citizens exercising their rights.”   Continue reading “Texas Congressman John Carter Fights ATF Rifle Registration with Amendment to Defund Federal Registry, Passes!”
