Former National Security Agency Director Michael Hayden joked Thursday about putting Edward Snowden on a kill list.

Hayden noted that Snowden has been nominated for a European human rights award.

A longtime Ozarks tradition is taking a final bow.

The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Theatre in Branson announced it will close on Oct. 19.

For 54 years, Harold Bell Wright’s epic story “Shepherd of the Hills” was performed.

“Rising costs in insurance and production, the new health care mandate and declining crowds are to blame,” read a press release posted Wednesday on the company’s Facebook page. “It is with a very heavy heart that we make this difficult announcement,” said Gary and Pat Snadon, owners of the park, said in a press release. “We have had an incredible run.”   Continue reading “‘Shepherd of the Hills’ play to close”

Washington DC was temporarily placed on police lockdown following a bizarre incident where a woman was said to have rammed a security barricade near the White House. After ramming the security barricade the woman who had a young child with her was pursued by several Capitol Police cruisers and brutally shot to death by the cops. The incident resulted in an immediate police lockdown of the area with a bunch of government goons roaming around the area with weapons. The corporate media even jumped over the story providing continuous coverage while presenting the incident as a possible terror attack. Although additional details are bound to come out shedding more light on this situation, new reports have revealed that the woman was unarmed. Today marks the 20th anniversary of The Battle of Mogadishu, the American operation in Somalia later immortalized by Mark Bowden’s seminal non-fiction book “Black Hawk Down” and dramatized in Ridley Scott’s exhilarating but slightly less non-fictional movie of the same name. On October 3, 1993, 160 U.S. Army Rangers and other special operations forces launched what was supposed to be a routine raid to capture two lieutenants of Somali warlord Mohammed Farah Aideed. But when two MH-60L helicopters providing fire support were shot down, the operation became a desperate search and rescue mission in which U.S. forces were besieged overnight by thousands of heavily armed Somali militiamen.
