Gov. Dannel P. Malloy signed legislation into law Wednesday that prevents the public release of crime scene photos and video evidence from the Connecticut school shootings that took the lives of 20 first graders and six school employees.
The new law, a result of efforts to balance private and public interests, creates an exemption to the state’s Freedom of Information Act and applies to homicides in Connecticut. Continue reading “Conn. Gov. Signs Bill Restricting Newtown Photos”

Those elected to allegedly serve the interests of “the people” in the State of New York, as usual are working on a bill to protect some of their own: the police.
According to WIVB, legislators in the Empire State (fitting nickname) seek to make a crime to “annoy” a cop. The imaginative title of the bill: “An act to amend the penal law, in relation to aggravated harassment of peace officers or police officers.” Continue reading “New York bill would make it a crime to ‘annoy’ police”

As a legal immigrant, I came to America because it was “the shining city on the hill” where everything was possible if you were willing to work hard because everyone had the freedom and equal opportunity to succeed.
I came to America because I wanted a better life for myself and my children. I did not want to toil day and night under the watchful eye of the totalitarian government who decided how much our labor was worth and how much we were allowed to eat, where to travel, or live.I came to America because I wanted to pursue higher education, something that was very limited under communism as the children of the communist party elite had first choice at any college no matter how bad their grades were. I did not want to wait until I was 60 years old and had the approval of the communist party to pursue a doctoral degree. Continue reading “Fleeing Communism only to find it in America”

A computer virus that steals bank details and empties money from accounts has been found on Facebook by security experts.
Trend Micro discovered the malicious links were being posted by fake Facebook profiles on popular brand pages, such as the U.S. National Football League.
The links are believed to be controlled by the Russian Business Network – an online criminal gang accused of stealing internet users’ identities and private information. Continue reading “Computer virus found on Facebook steals bank details and money from accounts when users click on links”
Freedom Outpost – by Tim Brown
As we’ve covered here at Freedom Outpost before, the Federal government has been given absolutely no constitutional authority to restrict or regulate arms in any capacity. They have tyrannically taken it upon themselves to do so. However, under the Obama administration, they have been going into gun dealers in states that border Mexico and obtaining information on individuals that purchase certain weapons with certain features within a matter of days, which seems to be clear violation of the Fourth Amendment as well as, the Second Amendment. A case developed as a result and a Federal Court gave the Obama administration the thumbs up to continue their trampling of the United States Constitution. I mentioned several weeks ago that I was sure Cape Fear Arsenal got commitments from institutional buyers (government agencies) as part of the funding process, to show their investors they have solid commitments, and that they will indeed sell as much ammo as they can to John Q. Public.
I can now confirm that they are going to make ammo for you… lots of it, and soon. Continue reading “Cape Fear Arsenal to produce 24M rounds of .223, starting in August”

There is a war being waged against real food – no, not the heavily-processed, chemical-laden garbage that fills the aisles of most major supermarkets today, but actual wholesome food grown on clean, family-scale farms across the U.S. And the upcoming documentary Let Them Eat Grass will expose the aggressors in this widespread fight, as well as urge people like us to fight back and defend our constitutional right to choose healthy food. The Louisiana State Legislature has given its final approval to a bill that affirms the right of students to hold prayer meetings in the state’s public schools. On June 1 the state Senate voted unanimously in favor of House Bill 724, which was previously approved by the state Assembly. Introduced in the Senate by Democrat Katrina Jackson, the bill confirms that students of any faith background can receive permission from school officials to use classrooms, assembly halls, or other available space for prayer or reflection. Additionally, noted theShreveport Times, “a teacher or school administrator, parent or someone from the community may be invited to participate or supervise.” Continue reading “Louisiana Legislature Passes Bill Promoting Student-led Prayer in Schools”

Whether bloggers count as journalists has mostly been a matter of esoterics for reporter types. But as Congress weighs a media shield law in response to the Associated Press/Justice Department subpoena scandal, the question is gaining an urgency that lawmakers are finding hard to ignore as they turn to writing the bill. One thing the government has not leaned. They cannot save their face and ass at the same time. After decades of lying to the people about why we went to war or been told to give up our own rights does not work anymore. The internet gave birth to the rise of citizen Journalism. The government has been desperate to try to silence and shut down free speech. They are desperate to hold onto power using anything to save their own ass at all cost. Today, there is almost zero truth in mainstream media. Just as global financial firms like Goldman Sachs have repeatedly been exposed for issuing conflicting advice to different tier clients depending upon how much money the client has with the firm, mainstream media has constantly been exposed for issuing different stories as well, depending upon the propaganda they wish to disseminate. For example, Time Magazine often runs different cover stories for the United States and the rest of the world as is illustrated by the covers of issues released in October and December 2011 below. As people are battered, brutalized, pepper sprayed and tear gassed in Turkey, it is becoming more and more obvious to the awakening masses that they are living under a tyrannical regime globally, who will do anything to keep its enslaved population under its control, its worker ants, and keep them enchained to their system of fear, debt and work. The brutality by police are obviously orders from government to control at any cost, and it would not take much for the government to take it to the next level, like Assad of Syria, and start killing the uprising people, who are desperate to become free of their slavery. In response to a reported wave of cybertattacks, the United States and China will be holding talks on how the two countries can create new rules for regulating the internet. The talks will be ongoing and are set to start in July.
The United States and China have agreed to hold regular, high-level talks on how to set standards of behavior for cybersecurity and commercial espionage, the first diplomatic effort to defuse the tensions over what the United States says is a daily barrage of computer break-ins and theft of corporate and government secrets.
