Daily Beast writer named Lee Siegel has issued an “edgy” rant about how much he hates the South, and how he wishes he wouldn’t have to deal with our politics, religion, people, or culture anymore.

He wants us to secede.

Seigel’s display of contempt for flyover country isn’t even original, and appears to have been plagiarized wholesale from a 2004 rant by an anonymous fellow leftist. It’s hardly surprising that Seigel stole his rant. ERIE — Magpul Industries, the Erie-based ammunition magazine maker that pledged to leave Colorado after gun-control legislation was signed into law in March, is for the first time manufacturing its weapons accessories out of the state.

Two Kazakh men and a third man have been arrested by federal authorities in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings, a law enforcement official familar with the case said this morning.

The two men, Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov, came to America from the Central Asian nation to study at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, where Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was also enrolled. The prepping community is always full of well-meaning advice about “where” a prepper should move to increase the chances of survival during an SHTF scenario, but the information on “how” to move is hard to find.

I’m in the process of getting ready for a big move – across the continent and into another country.  I’ve been at this prepping gig for quite some time, and have relocated several times throughout, but I’ve never undertaken a venture this big.  When we relocated here to the forests of Central Ontario, I thought the 8 hour drive in the moving van was a pretty big deal.  Now, I’m putting it in perspective  against our upcoming 40+ hour drive, and it seems like a walk in the park.   Continue reading “Moving for Preppers”

SHINGLETON, Mich. –  Police say an Iraq War veteran thwarted two would-be burglars at his northern Michigan gas station by kicking one of them and ordering them away with an AR-15 rifle.
