The Ryan-Murray budget is a good deal only because any budget is probably better than none. After all, we haven’t had one in 4 years, and the brigands on the Beltway have used the time to spend the ink off every greenback they could lay their grubby paws on. But compromise with Democrats is like negotiating with a deal with a serial killer over which implement he will use to dispatch you.
