US “Too Weak” to Attack Iran: IRGC Commander

The Truth Seeker

After Iraq and Afghanistan, both of which ended without a clear-cut American victory, the U.S. has little stomach for yet another war. As happened in Vietnam, U.S. forces may look impressive on paper but they have yet to prove themselves on the field.

However, while its conventional military capabilities and will to exercise them may be in doubt there is one area of military power in which the U.S. is still pre-eminent. America’s nuclear strike capability is unquestionable and theoretically it could wipe Tehran off the map.

Nor is this as far-fetched as it may sound. After all, prior to 9/11 the prospect of U.S. military on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan also seemed improbable. It only took a matter of minutes, and the live onscreen demolition of the World Trade Center towers to change that.

That false flag changed the course of history and as we now know Israel was largely responsible. Israel is desperate for the U.S. to deal with Iran and while this looks like an increasingly formidable prospect for U.S. conventional forces, it’s still well within the capabilities of its nuclear forces.

Meaning that the possibility of a nuclear false flag to be blamed on Iran should not be ignored.

US “Too Weak” to Attack Iran: IRGC Commander

Tasnim News Agency — Feb 7, 2014

A senior Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) commander on Friday dismissed US military threats against Iran, stressing that the United States is “too weak” to wage war on the Islamic Republic.

Commander of the IRGC Aerospace ‌‌Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh underlined that the defense and military capabilities of the Islamic Republic have “made the Americans helpless.”

He referred to remarks by US officials about the military option being on the table, and said the US arrogant mentality is nothing new.

US Secretary of State John Kerry in a CNN interview on Thursday once again threatened Iran, saying “we’ve lost nothing off the table.”

Hajizadeh said the Americans are seeking to score points through intimidation, stressing that the US never directly launches war against powerful countries but only invades countries that have either collapsed from within or lost their defense capability altogether.

The senior IRGC commander reiterated that the country’s officials should not worry about the Americans’ threats and that ensuring the security of the country is upon the armed forces and Basij.

He further referred to Iran’s talks with group G5+1 (Britain, the US, France, Germany, China and Russia) and urged Iran’s negotiators to “move the talks forward from a position of strength.”

Iran and the sextet are due to begin a new round of talks later this month, aimed at working out a final agreement on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.

  1. I call BS on the first part of this….if you go to the source he said no such thing about being ‘war weary after Iraq and Afghanistan’…. or of a ‘veiled nuclear threat’…for that it’s Israel Iran should be concerned with…
