What a great video find, Paul! I love this, and it brought back some fond, sweet memories of the past. I had a little tan VW bug back in the day,
and drove it for years.
Finally gave it to two young teenage boys who lived next door to us, they
made a dune buggy out of it, and it is probably still running today. LOL…
hah In the 70’s i thought they were realy cool. However we grew up wit very little, and i couldn’t afford those expensive cars. At least i thought they were expensive then. Now days those prices would be very cheap. hmmm never again i’m afraid.
Paul, I think we paid $1500. for my little Beatle back then. I was married with several children and they loved riding in that little car.
And I could drive it all week on a few gallons of
gasoline.
The last car we bought cost 3 times more than the first home I bought as an adult, and it was a used car.
Oh, the good old days!!!! I thank God daily for the
precious memories. Especially in these days when we have little to look forward to in this world, but we have Heaven for all eternity!
