Travelers are now being subjected to even more invasive screening procedures by the infamous Transportation Security Administration (TSA).   Before “allowing” people to travel, the TSA is performing unwarranted checks of a wide variety of personal documents, going further than ever before into the lives of innocent passengers.  As expected, Americans will roll over for the new intrusions and accept that they are necessary to protect the Homeland.

The new pre-screening procedure is more exhaustive than a federal background check. The alleged Los Angeles International Airport gunman carried a note with him today that expressed anti-government sentiments and suggested he expected to die in an airport shootout, according to law enforcement sources.

(CBS) LOS ANGELES – U.S. law enforcement officials confirm that Paul Anthony Ciancia, 23, is the suspected gunman in Friday’s shooting at Los Angeles International Airport.

A gunman opened fire at a security checkpoint Friday morning at Los Angeles International Airport, injuring a Transportation Security Administration employee and prompting a terminal evacuation.

The Boy Scouts of America on Wednesday chose former U.S. Secretary of Defense and CIA director Robert Gates as its next president, who will face the task of repairing divisions in the organization from a heated debate over accepting gay scouts.

As Defense Secretary, Gates supported President Barack Obama’s withdrawal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy that prevented gays and lesbians from serving openly in the military. Later this week, the House of Representatives will be voting on a bipartisan bill to repeal financial bailout protections that Congress passed in 2010 as part of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
