With the onset of the pandemic last year, ammunition got very expensive and very hard to find.
Now that America is starting to reopen, ammo is slowly starting to reappear on store shelves.

Two U.S. Marshals and one suspect were shot Tuesday in Baltimore, authorities confirmed.

SPRAGUE RIVER, Ore. (KTVZ) — The week-old Bootleg Fire on the Fremont-Winema National Forest, fueled by heat, wind and drought conditions, has grown to over 200,000 acres, and officials on Tuesday announced new closures and evacuations extending into Lake County.

Politico reported that President Joe Biden and his allies at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) want Short Message Service (SMS) carriers to monitor private text messages for anyone spreading lies about the COVID vaccine:
Biden allied groups, including the Democratic National Committee, are also planning to engage fact-checkers more aggressively and work with SMS carriers to dispel misinformation about vaccines that is sent over social media and text messages. The goal is to ensure that people who may have difficulty getting a vaccination because of issues like transportation see those barriers lessened or removed entirely. Numerous homes and structures have been destroyed by the Bootleg Wildfire, which has burned over 150,000 acres in Oregon.

The Bootleg Fire burning in southern Oregon exploded for the fifth day in a row Saturday afternoon, leading to the rare step of police citing and arresting people attempting to enter or stay in the evacuation zone northeast of Klamath Falls.
The fire was mapped at 143,607 acres Sunday morning after massive smoke plumes brought life-threatening risk and hazardous air quality across southern Oregon on Friday, according to fire crews. Pictures from the area showed darkened skies similar to those witnessed during last September’s Labor Day Fires. SPRAGUE RIVER, Ore. (KTVZ) — The Bootleg Fire that broke out earlier this week on the Fremont-Winema National Forest nearly doubled in size yet again on Friday, to nearly 77,000 acres, and Klamath County officials expanded the evacuation zones as a result.

KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. — The Bootleg Fire, a wildfire that broke out in southern Oregon’s mountains is spreading in windy, hot and dry conditions. As of Friday morning, the fire had grown to 38,892 acres, more than doubling in size during the past 24 hours. Fire officials have reported between 0% to 1% containment.
The fire is burning in steep, rugged terrain in mixed conifer and lodgepole pine in the Fremont-Winema National Forest, about 10 miles northeast of the unincorporated community of Sprague River.

President Joe Biden signed a wide-ranging executive order Friday afternoon aimed at minimizing the stranglehold of monopolies on certain industries and increasing competition among companies, which the White House believes will benefit consumers by driving down prices.
“For decades, corporate consolidation has been accelerating. In over 75% of U.S. industries, a smaller number of large companies now control more of the business than they did 20 years ago. This is true across health care, financial services, agriculture and more. That lack of competition drives up prices for consumers,” according to a White House fact sheet. A magnitude 5.9 earthquake shook the California-Nevada border Thursday afternoon, with people reporting feeling a jolt hundreds of miles away, as far as the Bay Area, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The man arrested and charged in the killing of an Indiana police officer at an FBI office had been a mayoral candidate and federal prisons employee, media outlets reported.

A suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of a golf pro at a Georgia country club, media outlets report.
A Cobb County sheriff spokesperson said Bryan Rhoden was arrested Thursday by deputies and U.S. marshals in the shooting death of Gene Siller, a golf pro at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said Thursday it was “absolutely the government’s business” to know which Americans haven’t been vaccinated yet against the coronavirus.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — A western Indiana police officer was fatally shot Wednesday when he was ambushed near FBI offices in Terre Haute, according to federal officials.
Sgt. Ryan Adamson of the Terre Haute Police Department identified the officer as 30-year veteran Detective Greg Ferency. Ferency had been a federal task force officer since 2010, the FBI said in a statement. Continue reading “Police officer fatally shot in ambush near federal building”
Dramatic video shows the moment a press conference at a NATO airbase in Lithuania was cut short over an emergency alert due to reportedly inbound Russian jets. Lithuania’s president Gitanas Nauseda and Spain’s prime minister Pedro Sánchez had been speaking at a high level briefing when the very NATO jets that served as their backdrop had to be scrambled in order to monitor the Russian jets’ movements in the area. Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced that he will lead class-action lawsuits against Twitter, Google and Facebook over alleged censorship, declaring that “big tech is out of control” and is functioning as “the de-facto censorship arm of the U.S. government.”
“While the social media companies are officially private entities, in recent years they have ceased to be private with the enactment and their historical use of Section 230, which profoundly protects them from liability,” Trump said as he announced the lawsuits in conjunction with the America First Policy Institute. Haitian President Jovenel Moïse was assassinated on Wednesday at his home by a group of unidentified gunmen, interim Prime Minister Claude Joseph announced. Joseph said the security situation in the country was “under the control” of Haiti’s police and military.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed an executive order on Tuesday, declaring a “first-in-the-nation” disaster emergency on gun violence, and outlining several steps the state will be taking to quell the bloodshed, particularly that which affects at-risk youth.
Speaking to an audience at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, the Democratic governor also signed legislation that closed “a loophole that allowed people with outstanding warrants for their arrest to purchase guns,” according to a Tuesday press release. Last week, the US Air Force awarded Raytheon with a $2 billion contract to develop a new air-launched nuclear cruise missile as part of Washington’s plan to modernize its massive nuclear arsenal.
