With thousands of unaccompanied children making the dangerous trek into the United States from Central America through Mexico, the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection is looking to bring in temporary workers to help process them. A federal judge in Nevada has ordered a competency evaluation for a woman charged with throwing a shoe at former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during an April speaking appearance in Las Vegas, according to court papers released on Thursday.
Alison Michelle Ernst is accused of getting past security at an event at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Hotel where Clinton was speaking and hurling a soccer shoe and several papers at Clinton from the audience.

A statue of Vladimir Lenin has returned to a Polish town which was constructed by the communists in the hope of it becoming a proletarian bastion.
But instead of striking a dramatic pose designed to inspire revolution, the new Lenin statue in Nowa Huta comes bright green in colour, and depicts the revolutionary leader relieving himself, with a water feature providing the necessary effects.

President Barack Obama said Thursday Iraq will need more help from the United States as it seeks to push back a violent Islamic insurgency that has captured two key cities and is vowing to press toward Bagdad.

Thousands of illegal immigrants flooding the U.S.-Mexico border are overwhelming federal resources and facilities. Word-of-mouth and news reports that U.S. Border Patrol agents are giving perceived amnesty to children migrants has apparently spread in Central America and may be prompting more hopefuls to make the dangerous journey north.

FORT DRUM, N.Y. (AP) — Military officials say a soldier with the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division based in northern New York has died while serving in Afghanistan.
Officials at Fort Drum say Wednesday that 34-year-old Spc. Terry Hurne of Merced, California died Monday from a non-combat-related incident in Logar province. No other details were provided. Continue reading “Operation Enduring B.S”

Jerad and Amanda Miller had lived in Nevada for only five months, but the couple quickly established political ties in their new state before gunning down two police officers and a bystander in Las Vegas.
The couple each claimed in social media that they moved from Indiana to support the gubernatorial campaign of David Lory VanDerBeek, who said he had spoken to them five times at campaign events and communicated with them through social media and text messages, although not for at least two months. In a stunning upset, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor lost the GOP Virginia primary Tuesday night to Dave Brat, an economics professor and political novice.
The Associated Press called the race for Cantor about an hour after polls closed at 7 p.m. ET.

To the people of this great nation, and to the families of those who are in sorrow at this time,
In a time such as this, how can one ever express correctly the feelings within.
Our family morns for the lives that were taken. We are deeply saddened by these events.
Our thoughts of concern are for those who were so hastily left behind. Wives left without husbands and children without fathers, to love, raise and protect. Memories may be all they have to sustain them through the lonely nights ahead. What is a mother to say when a child asks; “where is daddy?”. We pray that the aching hearts of the families will be filled with the knowledge that God knows your pains. His love for you is real and tangible. He will morn and sorrow with you while sustaining you through these times. In the end, our Eternal Heavenly Father will make right all wrongs. As tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors cross into the United States illegally from Mexico, the Obama administration admits it didn’t anticipate how many would come — and it is asking Congress “for additional (taxpayer) resources to meet this challenge.”
“So there is a request to the appropriators for just over $2 billion to support HHS (Health and Human Services) facilities in particular,” a senior administration official told reporters on a White House conference call Monday.

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Five Americans troops were killed in an apparent friendly fire incident in southern Afghanistan, a U.S. defense official said Tuesday, in one of the worst such incidents involving United States or coalition troops since the start of the nearly 14 year war.

The good news is, two cops are dead. The bad news is, the two shooters, and what appears to be an innocent bystander are dead too. Officer Alyn Beck, 42, and Officer Igor Soldo, 32, of the Las Vegas Metro Police were gunned down inside Cici’s Pizza while eating lunch. The shooters, one male, one female, whose names have not to my knowledge been released – reportedly shouted “This is the start of a revolution” before opening fire.
My sympathies go out to the owners, employees, and innocent patrons of the Cici’s Pizza, and the innocent bystander who was shot. That’s about where my sympathies for this particular incident end. Continue reading “Dead Men Don’t Start Revolutions”
A man who gunned down two police officers and a woman Sunday in Las Vegas left behind social media postings that show his concerns over Benghazi, chemtrails, gun control laws, and the government’s treatment of rancher Cliven Bundy.
Neighbors identified Jerad and Amanda Miller as the suspects who shot the officers execution-style as they ate lunch at a pizza restaurant, and then shot a woman outside a Walmart in the same plaza.
