US President Donald Trump has cryptically suggested he knows who is responsible for the 9/11 attacks, but would not name the names.

Speaking to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos in the Rose Garden of the White House this weekend, the president digressed from the subject of the 2003 invasion of Iraq to the infamous terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people in New York and Washington in 2001.  Continue reading “Trump ‘thinks he knows’ who was behind 9/11”

Aircraft manufacturer Airbus says “the technology for autonomous flying” is already here, and the only obstacles to progress are regulators – and “the traveling public,” understandably wary of pilotless planes.

Ever since two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft went down within six months of each other due to a glitch in the plane’s computerized flight control system, killing everyone onboard, airline passengers have had good reason to be leery of placing their lives in the hands of computers. News that Boeing was aware of the problems with its MCAS system and packaged the software “fix” as an add-on to extract more money from its customers only adds to fliers’ distrust of the company. But what about Airbus, its main competitor?  Continue reading “Airbus attempts to sell the world on pilotless planes – or would you rather fly Boeing?”

The Quebec provincial legislature on Sunday approved a controversial bill banning new public servants from displaying religious symbols while on the job.

The ban covers Muslim veils, Jewish kippot, Sikh turbans, and crucifixes.

After a sometimes-acrimonious debate, Premier Francois Legault’s right-leaning coalition government passed Bill 21 by a vote of 73 to 35. Continue reading “Quebec bans new public servants from wearing kippot, other religious symbols”

Expose of Faceboot’s origins by a gay lover who wishes to remain anonymous. (How many did Mark have? Doubt the author can stay anonymous for long.)

“Mark is incapable of running a McDonald’s, let alone one of the most powerful companies in the world. Not even his name is real and his identity has always been covered up. Mark was chosen as child for a CIA training program because his relatives were some of the people creating the program.”  Continue reading “Insider – DARPA Conceived Facebook for Mind Control”

Israel’s Strategic Affairs Minister Gilad Erdan has contacted several European countries, asking them to stop supporting and funding BDS organisations, Israeli newspaper Hayom reported on Friday.

Erdan also contacted the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, requesting that he ensures the EU halts funding to Palestinian organisations that support BDS and prevent the transfer of future funds to organisations that promote boycotts of Israel.  Continue reading “Israel seeks banning BDS in Europe”

A new generation of plane-sized autonomous delivery vehicles is capable of carrying hundreds of pounds for hundreds of miles. They’re called cargo drones. They are fast, more environmentally friendly, and could completely change the cargo industry.

Delivery drones are being tested today that are designed to drop a single item nearby a target, which is a more local solution. Over the past few months, Amazon announced plans to drop packages at customers’ doorsAlphabet’s Wing got FAA approval to make deliveries in the US, and UPS said it was testing its own tech by delivering medical supplies to hospitals in Northern Virginia. But there are concerns about safety and how the Federal Aviation Administration will regulate them.  Continue reading “Giant cargo drones will deliver packages farther and faster”

In the neocon hall of mirrors echoing with the cringe-worthy reverberation of lies, no evidence—or investigation—is required before casting blame on designated enemies. Such is the case today with Iran.

Hours after the unclaimed and as of yet investigated attack on two tankers in the Gulf of Oman, Sec. State Pompeo blamed Iran directly, which is hardly a surprise.  Continue reading “Pompeo Speaks as Alt-Right Media Parrots War Propaganda”

I’m so old I can remember when disseminating communist propaganda in public schools was frowned upon.

Last Friday afternoon, I was sitting at my computer when I received an email from Peachjar. This is a service used by several school districts near me in the Portland area that sends home digital fliers to parents in lieu of paper fliers to advertise extracurricular activities sponsored by various groups in the community. My son’s middle school uses this service, and I receive a few emails a month from them. I’ve used the service myself to send advertisements for recruiting events for Scouts, and I’ve received other fliers such as music lessons, sports teams, and the like.  Continue reading “Church Hosts Summer Camp to Train Grade School Kids to Be Antifa Activists”

US Senator Ted Cruz

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today the United States Senate unanimously passed U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Tim Kaine’s (D-Va.) bipartisan resolution condemning all forms of antisemitism.

“‘In the United States, Jews have suffered from systematic discrimination in the form of exclusion from home ownership in certain neighborhoods, prohibition from staying in certain hotels, restrictions upon membership in private clubs and other associations, limitations upon admission to certain educational institutions, and other barriers to equal justice under the law,'” Sen. Cruz said. “This is a shameful legacy and it makes it all the more incumbent that we as a Senate, speak in one voice and stand resolved that the United States condemns and commits to combating all forms of antisemitism.”  Continue reading “Bipartisan Cruz-Kaine Resolution Condemning Antisemitism Unanimously Passes Senate”

In a grainy black-and-white video shot at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, a patient sits in a hospital bed, his head wrapped in a bandage. He’s trying to recall 12 words for a memory test but can only conjure three: whale, pit, zoo. After a pause, he gives up, sinking his head into his hands.

In a second video, he recites all 12 words without hesitation. “No kidding, you got all of them!” a researcher says. This time the patient had help, a prosthetic memory aid inserted into his brain.  Continue reading “Upgrade Your Memory With a Surgically Implanted Chip”
