organic farming ban fdaOff the Grid News – by Michael Foust

Farming methods that have been used in America and throughout the world for centuries are in danger of essentially being banned under proposed regulations by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Small and large organic farms alike that sell produce would be impacted by the proposed new rules, which would place burdensome restrictions on everything from compost to livestock to water – so much so that many organic farmers will be forced out of business, said Judith McGeary, executive director of the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance, a national organization that supports independent family farmers.  Continue reading “FDA To Ban Organic Farming?”

Zero Hedge – by Tyler Durden

Hardly surprising given the surge in beef and pork that we have been noting, but according to the latest inflation data from the BLS, meat prices spike by almost 3% in April – the most since November 2003(this is also the 2nd biggest price spike in 34 years!) As we noted previously, this soaring food price inflation is not about to stop anytime soon…   Continue reading “Meat Prices Surge Most In 11 Years”

People suspicious of coercive power have been on the defensive recently—or, more accurately, their opponents want them to be on the defensive. The latest argument spouted by fans of a government potent enough to give you all you could want and give it to you good and hard is that any eyebrows raised at the prospect of such an expansive state are evidence of racism.   Continue reading “This Is the Number of Innocent People Murdered by Governments. Are You Anti-State Yet?”

Breitbart Texas reported this weekend that the Mexican government gave uniforms and assault rifles to hundreds of vigilantes in the country, creating the Rural Police Force. Authorities made the decision in response to the increasingly menacing drug cartels in the country. Recent reports state that vigilantes who did not join the Rural Police Force are resisting the Mexican government’s effort to demobilize them.

The Washington Post reported that over the weekend, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto began to rein in and demobilize vigilantes who did not join the newly-formed Rural Police Force.   Continue reading “Mexican Government Attempts to Disarm Resistant Anti-Cartel Vigilantes”

A May 7th solicitation by the U.S. Department of Agriculture seeks “the commercial acquisition of submachine guns [in] .40 Cal. S&W.”

According to the solicitation, the Dept. of Agriculture wants the guns to have an “ambidextrous safety, semiautomatic or 2 round [bursts] trigger group, Tritium night sights front and rear, rails for attachment of flashlight (front under fore group) and scope (top rear), stock collapsible or folding,” and a “30 rd. capacity” magazine.   Continue reading “Dept of Agriculture Orders Submachine Guns with 30 Round Clips”

Constitution Club – by Elle Dee

To all those who wave the Republican or Democrat flag, I withdraw my consent because I’ve come to the realization that democrats and republicans are a false-choice paradigm – a two–party dictatorship.
– Both support deficit spending – despite all the bluster
– Both support welfare – whether corporate, individual, or agricultural
– Both support picking winners and losers through grants, contracts, tax-breaks, etc.
– Both have attacked our civil rights in treasonous ways Continue reading “I Withdraw My Consent”

Industrialization brought massive changes to warfare during the Great War. Newly-invented killing machines begat novel defense mechanisms, which, in turn spurred the development of even deadlier technologies. Nearly every aspect of what we would consider modern warfare debuted on World War I battlefields.   Continue reading “World War I in Photos: Technology”

“The police cannot protect the citizen at this stage of our development, and they cannot even protect themselves in many cases. It is up to the private citizen to protect himself and his family, and this is not only acceptable, but mandatory.”

Befehl ist befehl means orders are orders which is the usual explanation given for barbaric behavior by Nazis on trial after WWII. The malefactors were hanged who attempted this defense yet this quaint notion is the bedrock of all US police behavior and explanation for its excess.   Continue reading “Befehl ist Befehl: Why Cops Are Morally Wrong”

I’ve never been exceptionally good at one particular thing.  I have often considered myself a jack of all trades  and master of none.  I know enough about many different things and I apply that knowledge of what I do know in a combination that somehow allows me to succeed.  I don’t think I’m the best out there, in fact, I know there are people out there that are more capable, knowledgeable, stronger, and more skilled than myself.   People who can write better blogs, people who can plan better attacks, people who can ruck more pounds.   There are even those who can drink more beer than me.  Over the years though, comparable to my military peers, the one thing I have learned that I can actually do slightly better than most is be sneaky.   Continue reading “Sneaky”

Ernie Wayne terTelgte is a poor man from a tiny village in Montana who believes that nature gives him a license to live. Barack Obama is a wealthy and privileged man residing at the seat of power who believes his position gives him a license to kill. Naturally, the Tolerance Commissars are pretending that the former is a menace to society, because of the contempt he displays for the system that facilitates the crimes committed by the latter.

Last August, terTelgte was fishing at Three Forks Pond with his eleven-year-old son when they were accosted by Adam Pankratz, who is employed as a warden by the Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks Service.   Continue reading “Only “Extremists” Believe They Have a Right to be Left Alone”

“Live free or die” is the motto of the state of New Hampshire. I hope the residents are
prepared to die, because living free is not what they do. NH is merely a cog within the
Amerikan Stasi State, but I am referring to what goes on within NH itself, not the police state existence imposed by Washington. On May 5 attorney William Baer was arrested at a school board meeting at which he went over a 2-minute speaking rule while trying to get some explanation from the Gilford, NH, school board for assigning sexually explicit reading material to his 14-year old daughter’s English class. Albuquerque citizens continue to demonstrate that they have had enough of their increasingly violent police department. The Albuquerque Police Department has even had its acronym changed by residents to mean Another Person Dead.

The long-standing dissatisfaction reached a new level following the blatant execution of a homeless man that was passed off as justified by police chief Gordon Eden. You can see the video here and judge for yourself whether proper force was used in this case of “illegal camping.”

Authorities in Hearne, Texas are refusing to say if a 93-year-old woman was armed when a police officer shot her at least five times on Tuesday.

According to KBTX, Pearlie Golden was at her home on Karney Street when she was shot by the Hearne police officer. Golden, who was known as Ms. Sully by her friends, was later pronounced dead after being transported to St. Joseph Hospital.   Continue reading “Texas cop guns down 93-year-old woman, but police ‘not ready’ to say whether she was armed”

Anyone who looks carefully behind the veil of words cannot find democracy in America. For years I have been writing that the US government is no longer accountable to law or to the people (see, for example, my book, How America Was Lost). The Constitution has been set aside, and the executive branch is degenerating into Caesarism.

Government is used to impose agendas that result from the symbiotic relationship between the neoconservative ideology of US world hegemony and the economic interests of powerful private interest groups, such as Wall Street, the military/security complex, the Israel Lobby, agribusiness, and extractive industries (energy, mining, and timber). Dollar imperialism, threats, bribes, and wars are means by which US hegemony is extended. These agendas are pursued without the knowledge or approval of the American people and in spite of their opposition.
