When I moved to Seattle in 1996, I had thought I knew how to order a cup of coffee: “I’ll have a cup of coffee please.” Soon I realized that it was more complicated: “I’ll have a Venti soy dolce latte, topped with sprinkled cinnamon and caramel drawing on whip cream, with coffee on the side please.” Referring to the US government is increasingly becoming as challenging as ordering coffee in Seattle: “Petro-imperial, coal-fired, plutocratic, oligarchic, inverted totalitarian, fascist, propagandist Big Brother, with democracy on the side.” Things are beginning to simplify though. Already under fire from Iraq War veterans for making up events, NBC is taking new flak today from former military brass over a correspondent’s claim that sniper hero Chris Kyle was a “racist” on “killing sprees” while protecting troops in Iraq.

Speaking about Attorney General nominee Loretta Lynch’s statement that illegal aliens have the “right to work” in the United States, Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) said he was “astounded” by Lynch’s comments, calling them “crazy” and “just not true.”

CNSNews.com asked Vitter, “Do illegal aliens have the right to work in the United States?”
