Unless the Federal Reserve is purposely attempting to spread panic on Wall Street, the decisions that the Fed just made don’t make any sense at all.  Back on March 3rd, the Federal Reserve announced an unscheduled emergency interest rate cut for the very first time since 2008.  Wall Street immediately interpreted that as a “panic move” and the Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the session down 785 points.  So Fed officials had to know what was going to happen once they announced an even bigger unscheduled emergency interest rate cut on Sunday.  Predictably, stock futures hit “limit down” very rapidly, and now investors are bracing for a week of tremendous carnage. As the coronavirus hammers airlines, hotels, and other industries and forces school closures and other shutdowns across the country, Americans may find they must miss work without getting paid.

Typically, turning to emergency savings — three to six months of expenses is recommended — is the best way to get through those periods, according to experts, but a significant number of Americans lack those funds.  Continue reading “How to weather a coronavirus cash crunch if you have no emergency fund”

Last week, in regards to the COVID-19 tests, President Donald Trump told Americans that “anyone who wants a test can get a test.” Fast forward to this week, however, and we’ve found out just how untrue that statement is. Once the CDC declared COVID-19 to be a public health emergency, that triggered regulations which prevented hospitals and private lab companies from developing their own tests. When it came time for them to release the tests, the CDC botched the rollout of the one they developed, leaving doctors unable to properly diagnose and treat their patients. It’s a government-sponsored shit show.  Continue reading “Government Fails at COVID-19 Test Distribution But Has $1.5 TRILLION for Wall St.”

It seems, the more there is written about the causes of the Coronavirus – the more the written analyses are overshadowed by a propaganda and fear-mongering hype. Questions for the truth and arguments for where to look for the origins and how the virus may have spread and how to combat it, are lost in the noise of wanton chaos. But isn’t that what the “Black Men” behind this intended pandemic want – chaos, panic, hopelessness, leading to human vulnerability – a people becoming easy prey for manipulation?   Continue reading “The Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandemic: The Real Danger is “Agenda ID2020””

The coronavirus outbreak is taking a deep toll on the U.S. economy, prompting hundreds of layoffs over the past week alone and halting a historic 11-year bull market in stocks.

Strong job growth and soaring financial markets have fueled the U.S. economic expansion over the past decade. Now the rapid market decline and initial layoffs are heightening fears that the longest economic expansion in U.S. history could come to a sudden end, just a month after unemployment stood at a half-century low.  Continue reading “The first US layoffs from the coronavirus are here”
