Former Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Mark Morgan says more than three million foreign nationals “have tried to violate America’s sovereignty and illegally enter” the United States under President Joe Biden.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has not officially released illegal immigration totals for December 2021. This week, though, the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency revealed in a court brief that nearly 180,000 border crossers were apprehended that month. The nation’s Second Amendment rights groups are readying for a new attack by longtime gun control advocate President Joe Biden now that the key elements of his domestic agenda have been shelved in a series of Senate rejections.

The gun-making industry and advocacy groups were put on warning last week when Biden slipped in anti-gun comments in his impromptu statement on the Texas synagogue hostage situation. Several federal law enforcement agencies and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s department are now the subject of a federal lawsuit after they were caught pulling over vehicles from an armored car company and robbing them of their cash. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the US will require people to submit a facial scan through a third party provider to make payments or file taxes online. The system raises obvious privacy concerns.

Currently, users only require a username and password to log into their IRS accounts. But starting the summer of 2022, users will need to verify their identity through a third-party identity verification company called ID.me. The change was first noticed by Krebs on Security. The Defense Department has agreed to spend about $52.5 million to operate and maintain observation blimps at the U.S. border with Mexico as part of an ongoing mission in the region.

The original request to support the blimps called for about 1,500 additional troops to deploy to the border mission that supports the Department of Homeland Security and began in 2018, according to Rep. A new report released on Wednesday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealed that unvaccinated people who recovered from COVID-19 were better protected than those who were vaccinated and not previously infected during the recent delta surge.
