In a statement, Washington Governor Jay Inslee said his heart “breaks over the loss of life.”

“There are cultural myths that are easy to overturn. People see through them quickly. But the prevailing core myths are tougher. Much tougher. Most people resist even discussing them. In the old days, the Church tortured and burned people who discussed them. Now, it’s social ostracism. Now, in some cases, it’s the State kidnapping children to send a message.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

Mandatory vaccination bills have dominated news headlines – especially in California, where SB277 was recently signed into law, stripping parents of their rights to opt children out of the mandatory immunizations required to attend school. Anti-vaccine activists have not been silent on their opposition to the bill and their belief that big pharma profit margins are the driving force behind the bill – not concern for public health and safety. After all, drug companies have resorted to crooked and underhanded techniques in the past in an effort to hide safety information about their medications and the serious dangers they present to unknowing consumers.   Continue reading “Anti-vaccine activists being targeted by big pharma hit squad”

The Obama administration’s no-fly lists and broader watchlisting system is based on predicting crimes rather than relying on records of demonstrated offenses, the government has been forced to admit in court.

In a little-noticed filing before an Oregon federal judge, the US Justice Department and the FBI conceded that stopping US and other citizens from travelling on airplanes is a matter of “predictive assessments about potential threats”, the government asserted in May.   Continue reading “No-fly list uses ‘predictive assessments’ instead of hard evidence, US admits”

“The less government we have, the better, — the fewer laws, and the less confided power. The antidote to this abuse of formal Government [taking more power for itself], is, the influence of private character, the growth of the Individual.” (Ralph Waldo Emerson, 1844)

Each weapon in your home armory is there for its own unique purpose. While that polished 1950s-era coach gun might have secured its spot as your safe queen, your other rifles and handguns were likely purchased for more active roles. And whether for hunting or for tactical applications, a weapon should fulfill the reason why you own it.

In an emergency situation, the mission at hand might be somewhere between a long-range engagement and an up-close defensive scenario. It is in such a situation that a pistol-caliber carbine rifle system could be the perfect sidekick.   Continue reading “3 Reasons Pistol-Caliber Carbines ‘Outgun’ Everything Else”

So far this year, 6 officers have killed their own K9’s by leaving them in vehicles with no air conditioning. One officer, as you’ll read below, somehow managed to forget about having TWO K9’s in his vehicle.  According to the Officer Down Memorial Page, at least 37 K9’s have died of heat exhaustion since 2001. Here is a look at the K9’s that have died this year after their handlers left them to die a horrible, excruciating death. (Out of the 19 K9’s that died this year, 2 were killed by other animals, 1 died in a vehicle accident, 1 drowned, 2 died during a fire, 1 was poisoned, 1 struck by a vehicle, and 3 died from gunfire – a total of 8 died of heat exhaustion).   Continue reading “Police Killing Their Own K9’s At An Alarming Rate”

A company by the name of StarChase has developed what is being claimed as a high-tech way to safely deal with high speed car chases. The Virginia Beach company describes itself as a “pursuit-management technology company” and says that over 55,000 injuries occur each year due to high-speed pursuits.

The technology will fire a tracking device that looks like a large shot-gun shell with adhesive on it, at a vehicle in pursuit. When attached, the device will  send GPS location data to police in real time.   Continue reading “Police Departments To Equip Patrol Cars With Guns That Shoot GPS Projectiles”

In its coverage of the brutal murders of four people in Florida, including an unborn child, NBC News didn’t point out that the teenage suspect is an illegal immigrant until the final paragraph of its story on the gruesome killings east of Fort Myers. You have to read all the way to the end of the 8-paragraph report before you’re told that the “teenager from Belize,” identified as Brian Omar Hyde, illegally crossed the Texas border about seven months ago.

Hyde reportedly made his way to Florida, where he apparently lived with or near the people he’s now charged with slaughtering. One of the victims was said to have been a relative of the 19-year-old who allegedly beat his victims to death. Another one of the dead was a pregnant 17-year-old girl.   Continue reading “Another Illegal Charged With Brutal Murders That Cops Call ‘Almost Unimaginable’”

As Ferguson’s interim police chief works to calm the troubled Missouri city, reporters have dug up details from his personnel files that raise questions about his integrity and character. The city says the charges are much ado about nothing.

Andre Anderson is on a six-month sabbatical from the Glendale Police Department in Arizona, with a mission to shepherd Ferguson through the anniversary of Michael Brown’s fatal shooting by a police officer, and reform the department a federal probe has accused of systemic racism. He worked the streets over the weekend, urging protesters to stay calm and police to be patient.   Continue reading “Ferguson police chief hit with claims of fraud, abuse”

Economic Collapse – by Michael Snyder

Those that run food banks all over America say that demand for their services just continues to explode.  It always amazes me that there are still people out there that insist that an “economic collapse” is not happening.  From their air-conditioned homes in their cushy suburban neighborhoods they mock the idea that the U.S. economy is crumbling.  But if they would just go down and visit the local food banks in their areas, they would see how much people are hurting.  According to Feeding America spokesman Ross Fraser, 46 million Americans got food from a food bank at least one time during 2014.  Because the demand has become so overwhelming, some food banks are cutting back on the number of days they operate and the amount of food that is given to each family.  As you will see below, many impoverished Americans are lining up at food banks as early as 6:30 in the morning just so that they can be sure to get something before the food runs out.  And yet there are still many people out there that have the audacity to say that everything is just fine in America.  Shame on them for ignoring the pain of millions upon millions of their fellow citizens.   Continue reading “46 million Americans go to food banks, and long lines for dwindling food supplies begin at 6:30 AM”
