A badly burned body was found inside the West Oakland home where two Alameda County sheriff’s deputies were injured by an explosion Tuesday morning while serving an eviction notice, a fire department spokesman said.

The county medical examiner was working to identify the body and the cause of death, Deputy Oakland Fire Chief Mark Hoffman said.

Deputies were entering the triplex at 14th and Peralta streets at about 11 a.m. when there was an explosion in the rear of the home, sheriff’s Sgt. J.D. A proposed $1.5 billion sale of two ship sets worth of Aegis combat systems, anti-submarine warfare systems and a cooperative engagement capability (CEC) equipment will give Japan’s planned new class of destroyers the capacity to connect and receive information from American battle networks, according to a list of items in a foreign military sales (FMS) notification issued by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency on Friday.

China’s central bank has put the Russian ruble into circulation in Suifenhe City, Heilongjiang Province, launching a pilot two-currency (ruble and yuan) program. The ruble is being introduced in place of the US dollar.

Three armed robbers met a store owner armed with an AR-15 and left with gunshot wounds aplenty. And it was all caught on camera.

“The persons who tried to break into his store that night not only intended to steal but I think they intended to kill him,” attorney John Schiro

Surveillance footage shows the robbers using a stolen van to ram through concrete pillars in front of the store.
