Although it probably never occurs to the average person gazing up into a clear blue sky on a tranquil day, the atmosphere can be riven by enormous channels, hundreds of miles wide that are very similar to the rivers that course through the landscape. Even less likely are they to imagine that these so-called “atmospheric rivers” play a critical role in the global water cycle and are a key source of the moisture that falls as rain and snow in the Western states, ultimately providing fresh water through snowmelt in the dry season and during droughts to a huge swath of this semi-arid region. (Click NOAA satellite image for larger view of atmospheric river that caused flooding in the USA taken Feb. 16, 2004. The widening gap between America’s richest and the middle and working classes is unsustainable and is unlikely to improve a survey released on Monday by the Harvard Business School has found.

The study which is called “an economy doing half its job” said that while large American companies were showing signs of recovery and were maintaining their competitive edge on the world stage, many middle and working class US citizens were struggling, as were small businesses.   Continue reading “Widening income gap in US ‘unsustainable’ but unlikely to improve”

The associate athletic director of Robert Morris University says that around 30 athletic and activity scholarships will go to students who play the video game “League of Legends.” The move will likely stretch the definition of what constitutes a sport.

This autumn, the Chicago university will be the first in the US to offer an athletic scholarship to video gamers.

Kurt Melcher has defended the controversial decision, saying that playing a video game is a team sport and that there is strategy involved – although he admitted that “it’s not cardiovascular in any way.”   Continue reading “Video gamers to be offered college scholarships in US”

WASHINGTON (AP) — Summer break over and elections ahead, Congress is beginning an abbreviated September session with must-do tasks of preventing a government shutdown and extending a freeze on taxing access to the Internet.

Lawmakers will find time, too, for votes conveying political messages primed for fall campaigning. Republicans who run the House may have lousy approval ratings, but they are poised to pad their 34-vote majority and determined to avoid mistakes like last year’s partial government shutdown. That fight was over implementation of President Barack Obama’s health care law.   Continue reading “Summer break over, must-do tasks await Congress”

BAGHDAD (AP) — The Arab League agreed Monday to take urgent measures to combat extremists like the Islamic State group as one of its suicide bombers killed 16 people at a meeting of Sunni tribal fighters and security troops in Iraq.

The resolution, issued after late-night meetings of Arab foreign ministers a day earlier, doesn’t explicitly back American military action against the group. U.S. President Barack Obama is seeking an international coalition to challenge the Islamic State group and is expected to outline his plan Wednesday to the American people.   Continue reading “Arab League agrees to combat Islamic State group”

Google returns over 2 million impeach Obama results and nearly half a million results of the two words Obama and imprison. It is not easy to fathom how many of the articles, blogs and comments in the results are merely rabid vapid racists incensed that a black is President; versus how many have more legitimate grievances.

Some of the articles make various cases to try Obama for War Crimes, Crimes against humanity. Again, race seems to be a factor as Obama’s death toll is about twenty-fold Clintons and about 20% of Eisenhower’s.   Continue reading “Imprison Obama”

With a mere ten companies controlling the worlds food supplies it should give a a person pause regarding, not only what we are actually eating, but what makes up what we put into our bodies. When we think of food, our minds, automatically, revert to nutritional items that sustain our lives and keep us healthy. Some of you may think of vegetables or grains or a well marinated steak. What ever pops into your mind, rest assured it probably is not on this list. Well, it may be on the list, just not how you may be thinking of it in terms of nutritional value, wholesomeness and advancing or maintaining your overall health.   Continue reading “Control The Food, Control The People”

Wonder why NATO is trying to start a war with Russia? Or why the West created ISIS?

All wars are really between the Illuminati on one hand,
and all combatants on the other.
This is why they finance both sides of every war. Continue reading “MI-6 Hired Nazi who Killed 100-300 British Agents”
