Israel has been involved in several stories currently making their way through the US media. The most fascinating tale concerns Republican Party Congressman from Florida Matt Gaetz. Gaetz is a Donald Trump loyalist who has up until recently been touted as the party’s future. Young, photogenic and a “firebrand” defender of GOP priorities, he has been much in the news lately.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday that the “horrifying” spate of mass shootings in the U.S. shows why gun violence is a public health issue.
“As a public health person, I think you can’t run away from that,” Fauci said on CNN’s “State of the Union” when host Dana Bash asked if gun violence is a “public health emergency.” Continue reading “Fauci on gun violence: ‘How can you say that’s not a public health issue?’”

An 18-year veteran in law enforcement warned to beware of Homeland Security training that is being pushed to local law enforcement. “You might be a Domestic Terrorist If” you believe in civil liberties, or if you actually believe in your Constitutional rights. Sadly, this is NOT a joke.
We’ve all heard the “You might be a Redneck If” jokes, but in this series “You might be a Domestic Terrorist If” you believe in civil liberties, or if you actually believe in your Constitutional rights. Sadly, this is not a joke. You might also be a terrorist if you have ever expressed concerns about Big Brother. Are you a Christian who has ever discussed the anti-Christ, the apocalypse, or even mentioned the book of Revelation? Guess what, according to DHS then you too qualify as a potential domestic terrorist. Continue reading “Deadly Serious DHS List: You Might Be A Domestic Terrorist If…”
The U.S. supply of COVID-19 vaccines is beginning to rapidly outpace demand, as appointments remain unfilled across the country and states say they are running out of people willing to get the shots.
As of Friday, 49 percent of U.S. adults had received at least one vaccine dose, and various polls suggest that only about 60 percent are interested in getting a vaccine right away. Continue reading “America hits the vaccine wall: Thousands of appointments go unfilled as states across the nation warn that ‘hesitancy’ to get the shots threatens to derail rollout”
The man-made lakes that store water supplying millions of people in the U.S. West and Mexico are projected to shrink to historic lows in the coming months, dropping to levels that could trigger the federal government’s first-ever official shortage declaration and prompt cuts in Arizona and Nevada.
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation released 24-month projections this week forecasting that less Colorado River water will cascade down from the Rocky Mountains through Lake Powell and Lake Mead and into the arid deserts of the U.S. Southwest and the Gulf of California. Water levels in the two lakes are expected to plummet low enough for the agency to declare an official shortage for the first time, threatening the supply of Colorado River water that growing cities and farms rely on. The latest vaccine mishap amid a global effort to inoculate the general public against coronavirus occurred at a Walgreens in North Carolina.
Workers at the pharmacy in Monroe confirmed on Friday they mistakenly gave some people an injection of saline instead of the treatment for COVID-19. Walgreens told WCNC they managed to reach out to everyone who was affected by the incident as soon as they were able.

Tensions in Eastern Europe have been escalating, as Ukraine and Russia prepare for the possibility of war. Religious scholars have cited this potential conflict as a sign that the coming of the Jewish Messiah is near.
The protracted conflict between Ukraine and Russia has been going on since 2014 and centers around the regions of Crimea and the Donbas. These regions are legally a part of Ukraine, but were invaded and occupied by the Russian Army and pro-Russian separatists who wanted these areas to be part of the Russian Federation. Rioters in Portland, Oregon wreaked havoc on the city’s downtown, smashing windows and setting an Apple store on fire. Though the city has seen nightly riots for nearly a year, the latest came after police shot a man dead.
Another night, another riot. Protesters assembled on Friday afternoon in Lents Park, where police had shot a man dead hours earlier. The man, who local media identified as “white” to ward off any potential “social unrest,” was carrying a replica firearm when he was killed. Protecting individual rights from government overreach is at the core of what sets the US apart from the rest of the world. It helped the country break free from a monarchy and withstand the pull of fascism, dictatorships and communism.
But in today’s interconnected global world of easily manufactured weapons and easily transmitted disease, protecting freedoms is coming at an ever greater cost. Continue reading “On guns and Covid, it’s liberty over lives”

Over the first few months of 2021, the migrant crisis at the US-Mexico border has exploded. Due to the policies of the Obama, Trump and now Biden administrations, many of those migrants, particularly unaccompanied minors, remain housed in increasingly controversial “overflow facilities.”
Despite promises to reverse the policy, the Biden administration instead has taken the unprecedented step of now housing thousands of these unaccompanied minors on US military bases, a jolting move that hardly generated any attention from either the mainstream or independent media. OMG!! This is a presentation (streamed 2 days ago) on The Bill of Rights, supposedly for high school and college students. I haven’t detailed the whole thing yet but being curious, I fast-forwarded to coverage of our 2nd Article and I ’bout fell off my chair.
I won’t elaborate now so you can hear it for yourself; it’s only 50 seconds long, @27:50 – 28:40. I’m wondering what to do about this. Could it be intentional? Is it just gross STUPIDITY? Continue reading “Alert!! Assault on The Bill of Rights!!”

We have two fires burning on the other side of the mountains of Mt. Ashland – controlled burns we are told for taking out dead trees – seems strange to me they are burning on that side of the mountain. Why? Then there are the strange clouds past that area again today. And there were some 150 to 200 small earthquakes southwest of Mt. Ashland and up by Salem. Are they doing the fires for cover or what? The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has reported that roughly 5,800 people who received a coronavirus vaccine still ultimately came down with the disease anyway, according to CNN.
Of those 5,800, 396 of them (roughly 7 percent) were hospitalized; 74 of the vaccinated people ultimately died. The report proves that the vaccines, though frequently touted by the government and the media, are not guaranteed to prevent everyone from contracting the virus.
