The IRS Will Be Stifling Free Speech in ChurchesJohn Birch Society – by Art Thompson

In this week’s analysis behind the news video, JBS CEO Art Thompson discusses how the IRS agreed on July 17 to monitor church sermons for political content as part of an agreement made with the Freedom From Religion Foundation; how tax collection in the United States has always been rife with corruption; how our original Constitution prevented the the imposition of the federal income tax; how our original Constitution provided for U.S. Senators to be chosen by state legislatures, not by a popular vote of the people; and how we need to get back to a truly independent Senate that represents the state legislatures, repeal the income tax, and thereby get back to our original system of financing the government.

Media coverage is now focusing on the experimental Ebola treatments being given to two American Ebola patients who contracted it while caring for victims in Africa — the site of the world’s deadliest outbreak.

But that Ebola treatment was developed by a leading bioengineering scientist from the University of Arizona who was caught on camera “joking” about wiping out humanity. Dr. Charles Arntzen suggested the use of a “better” genetically engineered virus during a post-lecture Q&A focused on over-population issues, citing the 2011 Hollywood film ‘Contagion.’   Continue reading “Scientist Working on Gov’t Ebola Drug Joked About Culling Population with GMO Virus”

Shootings and killings barely make the news in major American cities, but in a rural county outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, residents are alarmed by a recent wave of violent crime and they’re looking for answers from their sheriff.

Harnett County Sheriff Larry Rollins didn’t hesitate to give a straight answer. When called upon at a prayer vigil Monday night, he urged them to get armed and get serious about defending their homes.   Continue reading “Sheriff: Pack heat to stop bloody crime wave”

If you haven’t had a heart attack, step away from the aspirin bottle… If you are one of the 40 million Americans who take an aspirin every day, you may want to heed the latest warning from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

After many decades of promoting aspirin, the FDA now says that if you have not experienced a heart problem, you should not be taking a daily aspirin—even if you have a family history of heart disease. This represents a significant departure from FDA’s prior position on aspirin for the prevention of heart attacks.   Continue reading “FDA Reverses Its Position on Daily Aspirin”

On May 18, 2014, I received a call from my 22 year old autistic son. I immediately got in my truck and went to where my son was being ticketed. When I drove up on the right hand side of the road, adjacent to my son’s car, I did not leave my vehicle and I kept it running. The officer turned around and asked, “Can I help you?” I said, “I’m his father.”  The officer yelled at me to please leave the premises. I stated, “I’m his father, and just wanted to tell you he is autistic.” He turned around and said, “Leave or you’ll be arrested.”   Continue reading “Man Tased While Trying to Tell Deputies That Son Is Autistic”

Guns Save Lives – by Dan Cannon

This story just goes to show that you can’t rely on living in a fancy gated community to prevent violent crime. Also, the phrase don’t bring a knife to a gunfight comes to mind.

Three men showed up at a home in Wellington, Florida and got into a dispute with the son of the homeowner. When one of the men pulled a knife and threatened the homeowner, the homeowner protected himself and his family.   Continue reading “FL Homeowner in Gated Community Shoots 1 of 2 Intruders Armed With a Knife”

Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer said that he would legalize 11 million illegal immigrants currently in the United States in exchange for enhanced border security.

On Monday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel, Krauthammer argued, “I think if you’re going to do the step of legalizing these 11 million, which I would do, that has to come after you have secured the border, there are a lot of ways to do it. I think there’s a simple way to do it, to start to do it with a fence. There is a fence around the White House after all and it works.”   Continue reading “Krauthammer: ‘I Would’ Legalize 11 Million Illegals”
