Update: The Russian warships leaving port has been reported as a drill, as InterFax reports:
Russian Navy ships, starting from April 11, will conduct exercises near the coast of Syria, follow from the international notification for aviation personnel (NOTAM) and navigational warning for seafarers.

The aviation industry hangs its hat on air travel being “the safest way to travel.” The truth, however, is that it has harbored a dark secret since its inception: it’s poisoning its passengers and crew due to deeply flawed aircraft design, de-prioritizing safety in favor of profit.
In flight, every crew member and passenger relies on an air supply. The assumption, of course, is that this air is filtered if not fresh. Perhaps you have sensed (and promptly dismissed) that there may be quality control issues around cabin air. Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood worked an area of California with a higher-than-average number of police killings. Youngblood has said that that’s because “financially” it’s better to kill a suspect than it is to wound them and pay for their medical care for life.

Gloucester Township, PA — Body camera footage of a Gloucester Township police officer was recently released which captured the disturbing assault of a small 13-year-old girl by a massive cop. The attack was so deeply troubling that the officer has actually been suspended and subsequently charged—after his own cops turned on him.
The incident began on March 8 and was captured on another officer’s body camera. It shows Gloucester Township police officer John Flinn repeatedly punching and attempting to choke a small 13-year-old girl as he places her in handcuffs. Footage has emerged which appears to show an Israeli sniper shooting a Palestinian to the sound of cheers. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) says it will investigate the incident.

Portland, OR — A disturbing video was brought to the attention of the Free Thought Project this week showing more than a dozen heavily armed Portland cops corner, and then execute a man inside a homeless shelter Saturday night.
The Portland police chief is calling on citizens to reserve judgement after the video began going viral online. The United States could be set to launch air strikes against Syria as soon as tonight, with a Tomahawk missile-armed destroyer already in place.
