A veteran South Florida police officer and former Marine arrested late last month for refusing to remove his Guy Fawkes mask near an anti-Obamacare demonstration. He has now come forward to say what motivated him.

Ericson Harrell, 39, a 15-year veteran of the North Miami Beach Police Department who spent four years in the Marines, was driving through Plantation when he came upon the rally, according to the Sun Sentinel. He parked his vehicle, donned his cape and mask and grabbed his banner — an inverted U.S. flag, signifying distress.    Continue reading “Florida cop, Marine vet, arrested for wearing ‘Anonymous’ mask warns of ‘a war coming’”

Chinese regulators have banned financial institutions from using Bitcoin, warning that the virtual currency could be used for illegal activities and speculation. China’s central bank, the People’s Bank of China, announced the decision in a statement released Thursday, though it stopped short of banning Bitcoin altogether. Individuals are still free to use the digital currency in China, albeit at their own risk. Bitcoin prices fell in response to today’s announcement, dropping to as low as $970.62 on Thursday after trading at over $1,100 prior to the central bank’s decision.   Continue reading “Bitcoin banned from Chinese banks amid fears of laundering”

South Korea has announced it will expand its air defense zone in a move that could raise regional tensions with China. The new zone encroaches on air space that Beijing had previously claimed, sparking outrage from its Asian neighbors.

The South Korean government said that the new zone will come into effect December 15, AFP reported. The area included in the defense zone will encompass the Ieodo submerged rock formation that China calls Suyan.   Continue reading “South Korea expands air defense zone in territory row with China”

East Lansing — Police in riot gear dispersed rowdy crowds early Sunday in East Lansing, where thousands converged around fires and some overturned cars to celebrate Michigan State University’s first Rose Bowl appearance in a quarter century.

East Lansing police denied social media reports tear gas was used to scatter a group at River Street, where a large fire was burning.   Continue reading “Police disperse East Lansing crowds after MSU win”

Before It’s News – by Live Free or Die

In these latest videos from John Moore, he further ‘peels back the layers of the onion’ and informs us that according to a source, an event will soon occur, most likely an EMP event. “When this event begins, it will go on for two years and the first six months will be the worst”. Whether that ‘event’ be an EMP attack, WW3, or an economic collapse, we learn that the first two months of that will be spent with TPTB ‘arresting and murdering those who oppose them’. John warns that it will be ‘every man for himself’ for the first 6 months. First video is just a clip of John’s original warning from Wednesday’s show and the 2nd video is John’s follow up to that warning in this morning’s show.   Continue reading ““6 Months Of Every Man For Himself””

(ZeroHedge) – They say those who forget the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them. As a student of market history, I’ve seen that maxim made true time and again. The cycle swings fear back to greed. The overcautious become the overzealous. And at the top, the story is always the same: Too much credit, too much speculation, the suspension of disbelief, and the spread of the idea that this time is different.   Continue reading “Ghost Of 1929 Re-Appears – Pay Attention To The Signals”

Well I finally read the LTC Bateman opinion piece.  You can read the drivel here: http://www.esquire.com/blogs/politics/bateman-on-guns-120313

Make no mistake, LTC’s in the US Army do not put down words lightly.  He meant everything he put onto paper, and truly believes he is smarter than 5 US Supreme Court Justices.  So you have to ask what his agenda is, and why he is making it now?   Continue reading “LTC Bateman”

California Obamacare exchange giving out customer informationThe Daily Caller – by Tim Cavanaugh

Widespread fears that Affordable Care Act exchanges would fail to guard customer information are already coming true in California, where the state exchange is giving selected insurance agents customer contact information, resulting in unwanted calls and emails to Californians who have checked out the exchange but declined to buy insurance.

The Los Angeles Times’ Chad Terhune reports that Covered California, which Obamacare proponents have held up as a rare example of a functioning state health care exchange, provides names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of customers who did not ask to be contacted.   Continue reading “California Obamacare exchange giving out customer information”

WebMDThe Last Resistance – by Michael Minkoff

WebMD, the world’s second-most-popular website for health advice, has very quietly secured a government contract in which it agrees to promote Obamacare and educate doctors about it.

Representatives of the website have argued that this does not constitute a conflict of interest, since WebMD would be allowed autonomy to present its own take on medical news and advice, and this particular government contract affects only its private portal for doctors. That is, for now. A contract for educating the public about Obamacare is also under way.   Continue reading “WebMD Quietly Hired to Promote Obamacare”
