The chairman of a New Jersey legislative panel investigating the George Washington Bridge lane closures said Gov. Chris Christie’s top aides had engaged in a “cover-up” and the governor could be impeached if it is determined he was aware of efforts to use the bridge for political purposes.

“Using the George Washington Bridge, a public resource, to exact a political vendetta, is a crime,” New Jersey Assemblyman John Wisniewski, who is spearheading the bridge probe, told NBC News on Saturday. “Having people use their official position to have a political game is a crime. Last year was a bad one for Florida’s manatees, which experienced a record number of fatalities.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute reported last month that more than 800 of the giant sea cows died in 2013, which was the highest total on record since the institute began researching the mammals 40 years ago.

A group of US lawmakers in the US House of Representatives and Senate criticize Attorney General Eric Holder over the death of an activist, blogger and prominent computer prodigy who had criticized President Obama’s “kill List”. The lawmakers also call for an investigation over the issue.

Protein Sciences Corporation (PSC) is producing a FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved flu vaccine that contains genetically modified insect protein cells. A puppy meant to be delivered to a sick girl on Christmas was stolen by the person who was supposed to deliver it, cops say.

Riverside, Calif. resident Shawna Hamon wanted to send a pug puppy to a 7-year-old girl with leukemia, according to a Riverside Police press release.

Hamon reached out to an acquaintance she knew through the “pug networking” group both belonged to and asked her to deliver the pooch to the child in Sacramento. But the pug never showed up. Tap water in nine counties in West Virginia is still off limits, the governor said, as almost 800 people called a local poison center reporting illnesses, while residents spent a third day unable to drink from the faucet, or have a bath or shower.

WASHINGTON — President Obama said Sunday that the clock starts ticking Jan. 20 on a six-month nuclear deal with Iran, calling it the best bet to deny Tehran the means to make nuclear weapons.

Obama also vowed to veto any congressional legislation that slaps new sanctions on Iran, saying it would damage prospects for a long-term nuclear agreement.

The astronomers who captured this image with a NASA space telescope call it the “Hand of God.”

I have recently learned that my site www.xn--e1aaoyck.tk (browsers translate to www.секрет.tk), which is an attempt to make an NSA proof search engine, has been blocked by many companies such as Facebook, Stumbleupon, and Best Buy for being unsafe or inappropriate. This is despite the fact that there is NO malicious content on the site and NO adult content… Unless you call freedom of speech inappropriate.

It first came to my attention when attempting to show a friend the site on a computer at Best Buy, whose content blocking software blocked the site, despite not blocking many other site (in fact it didn’t block ANY of the other sites I tried. I thought nothing of this, and just figured they block some unknown sites. Then a couple weeks later, I attempted to post a link to the site on a face book page that I am the admin of, and face book gave a block noticed saying I couldn’t post the link.
