TALBOT COUNTY, GA (WTVM) –A Talbot County man faces felony charges of destruction of aircraft after he reportedly tried to shoot down a state chopper, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
At his preliminary appearance on June 16, Fryer’s bond was set to $10,000. According to his bond terms, Fryer will not be allowed to have a gun, he will have to undergo a mental health evaluation and treatment, and he will have to surrender his passport.

A Virginia man shot his wife and two children in tragic murder-suicide on Father’s Day. According to police, Berry Jernigan contacted his employer and made some disturbing suicidal comments on Sunday night before the shooting took place. The employer contact law enforcement which arrived at the Jernigan home in time to hear gunfire but too late to save the family. Meet 8-year-old Asher Palmer, who was tossed out of his special-needs Manhattan school for threatening other kids with a toy “gun’’ — which he made out of rolled-up paper.
She was incensed that Principal Micaela Bracamonte told other staffers in an email that Asher “had a model for physically aggressive behavior in his immediate family.’’“Asher is exactly the type of student Lang [School] is supposed to be serving. World War lll is not around the corner, it is not coming next week, or next month, it’s happening now. To many people who are used to wars involving one or more countries fighting other countries, it is something in the future because they cannot grasp the fact that we are involved in a war without borders, where the soldiers are not easily identifiable by the uniform they wear.

Barack Obama has integrated promotions of homosexuality and other alternative lifestyle choices into his policy and practice since his election, successfully promoting the “gay” lifestyle in the U.S. military and forbidding the enforcement of the federal law called the Defense of Marriage Act that supported traditional marriage.

Are you a person, who repeats the Pledge of Allegiance at a local town board meeting or sings the National Anthem at a sporting event? Well, such people are likely candidates to turn over their firearms, when the collection van stops at your door to remove hazardous guns that endanger you, your family and neighbors. Surely, you file income taxes and pay your financial obligations to the government, what would prevent you from surrendering your personal lethal weapons, for the betterment of the state and the best interests of your community? The US House of Representatives voted 255 to 172 last Tuesday in favor of a ban on federal funding of red light cameras, speed cameras and automated license plate readers (ALPR or ANPR). Representative John Fleming (R-Louisiana) proposed the measure as an amendment to the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development appropriations bill which has yet to be taken up by the Senate.

We are starting to see that there are very serious consequences for filling up our oceans with massive amounts of plastic that never biodegrades. In fact, this is one of the greatest environmental disasters of all time and yet you rarely hear it talked about. Virtually every molecule of plastic ever created still exists somewhere, and we all use things made out of plastic every single day. But have you ever stopped to think about what happens to all of that plastic? Well, the truth is that a lot of it ends up in our oceans. In fact, humanity produces approximately 200 billion pounds of plastic every year, and about 10 percent of that total ends up in our oceans. In other words, we are slowly but steadily filling up our oceans with our garbage. In the North Pacific Ocean, there is a vast area where so much plastic has collected that it has become known as “the Great Pacific Garbage Patch” and as “the Pacific Trash Vortex”. This “Great Pacific Garbage Patch” stretches from Hawaii to Japan, and it has been estimated to be larger than the entire continental United States. It contains more than 100 million tons of plastic, and every single year it gets even larger. Indeed, nearly 300 troops are being prepared to deploy to Iraq, as they would be to any nation on Earth where a US embassy is located, and may possibly require evacuation. It is in no way an “intervention” or a gesture of “assistance” to the government of a destabilized country. However, in Iraq, Western headlines would have readers think otherwise.

MOUNTAIN VIEW (KPIX 5) – A massive mountain lion cornered at an apartment complex in Mountain View on May 6th reveals a long, winding journey around the residential South Bay, according to just-released tracking device data.
The cat, known by researchers as 46m, wandered out of the Santa Cruz Mountains and went trapseing aroung Egan Junior High in Los Altos before checking in on countless backyards. He then swung by Target on Showers Dr. before finally ending up at the corner of California and Rengstorff Avenues in Mountain View. President Barack Obama was set to announce on Tuesday a proposal to turn vast areas of the Pacific Ocean into the world’s largest marine sanctuary, sparking a new fight with Republicans over executive power.
As part of his initiative to clean up the environment, the measure would ban energy exploration, fishing fleets and other potentially damaging industries from using the affected areas, according to The Washington Post.
