NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- Despite overwhelming public opposition, the Pleasant Hill City Council this past week approved amending a city zoning ordinance banning where law-abiding, federally licensed firearms and ammunition retailers can operate.
In passing the anti-gun zoning changes, the City Council defied Pleasant Hill’s own Planning Commission, which a month earlier voted unanimously against adopting any new zoning restrictions designed to put FFLs out of business.
