HONOLULU (AP) — A federal jury on Friday decided a former Hawaii soldier convicted of murder is eligible for the death penalty in the first capital case in the history of Hawaii’s statehood.

Jurors will next deliberate on whether Naeem Williams should be sentenced to death or life in prison with no possibility of release for killing his 5-year-old daughter. A shift by immigrant smugglers to target the tough-to-defend U.S.-Mexico border in southernmost Texas has accelerated this year as the Border Patrol scrambles to shift its resources from states farther west, according to an internal agency report obtained by The Associated Press.

From Oct. 1 through May 17, agents in the southernmost tip of Texas made more than 148,000 arrests, on pace to match last year’s total in less than eight months, according to the intelligence report. That compares with nearly 63,000 arrests in the Tucson, Arizona, sector, which it surpassed for the first time just last year. This post I dedicate to DiggerDan, and all fallen warriors for this Memorial weekend. As far as I know, classical style music was not DiggerDan’s genre of choice, but I do think he would let it go in the way of how I, and perhaps some others, would choose to pay tribute him and make peace with his loss. He was a warrior of another class, uncompromising in what is right in this life. He lived his life, and gave his insights and truths, from his heart. I can’t think of a better example as we face these extraordinary and challenging times.

The Academy Award-nominated 2001 work of David Lynch, Mulholland Drive, is remembered by most as a macabre, satirical nightmare dreamscape of Neo-noir centering around a typical girl next door’s dream of becoming the next Hollywood starlet.  That is about the only thing viewers can agree the film is about.  Reviewers speak of “surrealism,” “imagination,” “nightmares,” and a few of the more philosophical pieces look at semiotics in relation to the performance at Club Silencio, yet no one seems able to truly crack the language of Mulholland, even with Lynch’s clues and hints.  Continue reading “Hollywood occult brainwashing in Lynch’s ‘Mulholland Drive’”

I was thinking about what Henryyou and J.D. were talking about today. How people will freak out when they can’t get their big pharma meds. I was listening to Mark discuss this as well on the intelligence report.  I can attest to this, as my sister was on medication for depression. I’m not actually sure what she was taking, but I do know it was making her crazy.

Two years ago, right after my husband was incarcerated, she came out here to “help out”. I hadn’t physically seen her for 25 years, but we communicated by phone, text, and email. She couldn’t make it a week without freaking out on me, and believe it or not, it was over the price of garbage bags! At first I thought it was a joke, until I realized she was serious. She screamed at me, and even tried to turn my 5 children and grandchild against me. That same day she packed up and went back home. Originally developed by Crye Associates for the US Army’s Objective Force Warrior Program, the Scorpion camouflage pattern could be considered the precursor to the popular MultiCam pattern.Earlier this month, Army officials chose to proceed with a transition to the Scorpion pattern via a “soft launch”. Guess it’s not so soft anymore. I will point out, that although industry is hard at work preparing fabric to begin the process, the US Army leadership has yet to make an official announcement.
