Are “Digital” Troops Being Sent Into Our Digital Devices Like British Troops Were Sent Into American Colonists’ Homes?

We have extensively documented that the U.S. government is trampling virtually every single Constitutional right set forth in the Bill of Rights.

One of the few rights which we thought the government still respects is the the 3rd Amendment, which prohibits the government forcing people to house troops:   Continue reading “Is The NSA Quartering “Digital” Troops Within Our Homes?”

The California Supreme Court on Thursday will decide whether to grant a law license to a man living in the United States illegally who graduated from law school and passed the state bar exam.

The opinion to be published comes in the case of Sergio Garcia, who is challenging a 1996 law that bars people living in the country illegally from receiving “professional licenses” from government agencies, or with the use of public funds, unless state lawmakers vote otherwise.   Continue reading “California to Rule on Law License for Illegal Immigrant”

In another example of liberal political correctness run amok and the desire to rewrite history, beloved claymation character Yukon Cornelius has had his nickel plated six shooter confiscated by toy companies.

As you can see in the picture below, Yukon Cornelius was a man who looked after his own well being while out in the harsh wilderness.  He dressed warmly for his environment, had his wool cap and ear muffs, warm weather jacket and pants and some sturdy boots.  He was also well provisioned carrying with him a backpack for supplies, a canteen, a knife, a hammer AND A GUN.   Continue reading “Gun Confiscation in time for Christmas. A couple of days ago I heard a child misspeak about New Year’s Resolutions by calling them New Year’s Revolutions.

After a quick chuckle I got to thinking.  Resolutions are cliche and pointless.  They breed crowds at fitness centers and health food stores for the month of January before they are abandoned completely come February.   Continue reading “Don’t Resolve, Revolt! As the five-year statute of limitations approaches for the wrongdoing that bequeathed us the Great Recession, the question of why no high-level executives have been prosecuted becomes more urgent.

You won’t find a better, more incisive discussion of the question than the one by U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff of New York in the current issue of the New York Review of Books.   Continue reading “U.S. judge asks: Why haven’t the financial executives been prosecuted?”

Key Fobs - Photo by ReplaceRemoteMy first thought was “how long would it be before thieves used this technology to get in?”

And was it set upon us as an easy way for the “Agencies” to have easy access to our stuff?”

End of the American Dream – by Michael Snyder

All over America, criminals are using improvised electronic devices to electronically unlock vehicles and steal whatever they find inside.  These “mystery gadgets” reportedly recreate the same signals that the key fobs that so many of us carry around send out.  As you will see below, footage is popping up nationwide of thieves using these “mystery gadgets” to remotely unlock car doors and disable alarm systems.  Once a car has been unlocked, it takes these thieves just a few moments to take what they want before leaving without a trace.  Continue reading “Thieves Are Using “Mystery Gadgets” To Electronically Unlock Cars And Steal What Is Inside”

APPLEGATE, Ore. — It’s the driest year on record for most of Southern Oregon and Northern California.  Lakes and rivers in the area are drying up, and there is no help sight.

The Applegate Reservoir is usually filled to the brim with water, but right now it’s nothing more than a muddy desert.

“We’re praying for water, we’re praying for rain, it’s really really low,” said Applegate Reservoir visitor Bear Perrin.   Continue reading “Lakes Dry Up As Lack of Rain Continues”

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A commercial truck driver and his dog are safe after his truck traveled off Highway 140 W, about six miles west of Klamath Falls, and went into the ice-covered Upper Klamath Lake Tuesday morning. Oregon State Police are still investigating the crash and the Oregon Department of Transportation is working on removing the truck from the water.

On December 31, at about 6:40 a.m., Carl Hansen, 73, from Medford, was driving the commercial truck that was pulling an empty semi-trailer on Highway 140 W near milepost 58 when the truck traveled across the westbound lane, off the shoulder and into the ice-covered lake. Federal officials will decided in the “coming weeks” whether to require new cars to include smart technology that would alert drivers of a coming crash, even in vehicles that are two or three cars away.

Washington (CNN) — A dramatic shootout between authorities and suspected cartel gunmen at a Mexican seaside resort this month has ties to a botched U.S. gun operation.

A U.S. official said Tuesday that investigators have traced at least one firearm recovered at a December 18 gunfight in Puerto Peñasco, across from the Arizona border, to Operation Fast and Furious.

That’s the disastrous operation run by agents in the Phoenix office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.   Continue reading “Fast and Furious gun turns up after Mexican resort shootout”

President Obama’s Kansas speech is a remarkable document. In calling for more government controls, more taxation, more collectivism, he has two paragraphs that give the show away. Take a look at them.

there is a certain crowd in Washington who, for the last few decades, have said, let’s respond to this economic challenge with the same old tune. “The market will take care of everything,” they tell us. If we just cut more regulations and cut more taxes–especially for the wealthy–our economy will grow stronger. Sure, they say, there will be winners and losers. But if the winners do really well, then jobs and prosperity will eventually trickle down to everybody else. And, they argue, even if prosperity doesn’t trickle down, well, that’s the price of liberty.   Continue reading “Obama To Americans: You Don’t Deserve To Be Free”

He has literally spent his entire life fighting for his country.Leegly

Meet José Mujica. He may look like your average farmer or grandfather, but he is anything but. This man is globally known as the world’s “poorest President” because he lives a life of humility… all while leading the country of Uruguay. As a man who trulycares about his people, he doesn’t take an obscene amount of money to just act as a politician. He donates about 90% of his $12,000 monthly salary to charities that benefit poor people and small entrepreneurs.

Other countries, listen up.   Continue reading “The world’s “poorest” President”

Our extinction crisis continues; 2013 allowed us to safely conclude that we will never again see the animals listed below (2012 version here).

The Formosan Clouded Leopard (Neofelis nebulosa brachyura) of Taiwan is now thought to be extinct. None have been seen in over thirty years, despite a recent and intensive 13-year effort to document one. We did just about everything we could to eliminate this animal; we destroyed their habitat, killed them for their skins, and got rid of the other animals they normally ate. They didn’t have a chance.   Continue reading “10 Animals That Went Extinct in 2013”
