WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. specialty truck maker Oshkosh Corp has won a $6.75 billion contract to build 17,000 light tactical vehicles to replace the aging Humvees used by the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, the U.S. Army announced on Tuesday.

The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads in part:
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and the State wherein they reside.”
Babies born to illegal alien mothers within U.S. borders are calledanchor babies because under the 1965 immigration Act, they act as an anchor that pulls the illegal alien mother and eventually a host of other relatives into permanent U.S. residency. Greenville, TX – In yet another case of police investigating themselves only to determine that they did nothing wrong, a Hunt County Sheriff’s deputy was no-billed after being captured on video punching a pregnant woman numerous times and pushing her stomach first into a kitchen counter, leaving bruises.
During the execution of a child custody warrant, a 38-week pregnant woman, Deanna Robinson, was arrested. Hunt County Sheriff’s Department went to Robinson’s residence to assist CPS in taking custody of a child after a familial dispute. NEW ORLEANS — Law enforcement agencies from across the metro area, as well as U.S. Attorney Kenneth Polite, went door-to-door in New Orleans East on Saturday to hand out information on the penalties of gun crimes in school zones.

A surge in serious crimes by illegal immigrants—many repeat offenders—who have been shielded by sanctuary laws isn’t stopping legislators in Massachusetts from quietly pushing for a measure that would protect undocumented aliens statewide.
The move could not have come at a worse time, as the nation reels from a series of atrocious crimes committed by illegal aliens who long ago should have been deported. Instead, they were protected by sanctuary laws despite their criminal histories and illegal status in the U.S. A recent example is the gruesome July 4 San Francisco murder of a young woman by an illegal immigrant thug with seven felony convictions. A man who was detained by the Secret Service in March for allegedly jumping over a perimeter wall of the White House was shot and killed by a police officer Tuesday inside a Pennsylvania courthouse.

Anti-Israeli groups such as the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign that are behind boycotting Tel Aviv have increased their activities at US universities, a new report says.

When NBC News learned that two anti-gun authors had created another “study” that proved (this time) that private gun ownership resulted in more police officers being murdered, they were only too happy to ignore the study and its flaws and instead give one of its authors plenty of ink. Wrote Maggie Fox, “The report is sure to be controversial but it adds a new dimension to a conversation that’s been recently focused more on police shootings of unarmed Americans.” The study, “Firearm Prevalence and Homicides of Law Enforcement Officials in the United States,” authored by a couple of PhDs, David Swedler and David Hemenway, and published on August 14 in the American Journal of Public Health, blames the prevalence of police murders on guns in private hands without saying that those hands belong to criminals and not innocent private citizens.
