The Confederate flag has raised plenty of controversy in the United States, but you don’t need to head to the U.S. to see it.

Despite being deemed “not appropriate” by organizers, the U.S. Civil War battle flag has been making appearances at Saskatchewan’s Craven Country Jamboree.

Flags of one sort or another fly on almost every camper van at the country music festival near Regina, but most are for the Saskatchewan Roughriders or beer brands.   Continue reading “Confederate flags fly at Craven Country Jamboree despite backlash”

DC Whispers

Following an outburst by Republicans offended by Nancy Pelosi’s demand the Mississippi flag be removed from the 50-state flag display on the Capitol grounds, as well as all other flags and or symbols deemed racially insensitive be removed as well, the animated House Minority Leader reportedly issued a very confident threat against Republicans who continued to oppose her latest attempt to divide Americans against themselves.   Continue reading “Unhinged Nancy Pelosi Said To Promise, “We Will Hang Them By That (Confederate) Flag!””

The list of things 15-year-olds are not legally allowed to do in Oregon is long: Drive, smoke, donate blood, get a tattoo — even go to a tanning bed.

But, under a first-in-the-nation policy quietly enacted in January that many parents are only now finding out about, 15-year-olds are now allowed to get a sex-change operation. Many residents are stunned to learn they can do it without parental notification — and the state will even pay for it through its Medicaid program, the Oregon Health Plan.   Continue reading “Oregon allowing 15-year-olds to get state-subsidized sex-change operations”

Veterans Today – by Jim W. Dean, April 14, 2011

April is Confederate Memorial Month where various commemorations held throughout the month, primarily in the South. In the other states I would venture to say that most have never even heard of it, a combination performance of historical revisionism, political correctness, and amnesia. But I am happy to report that we are seeing more events being held each year, and better attended.

The anti-Confederate smear campaign is becoming recognized for what it always was, a political campaign to denigrate Southern heritage. The ignorance of this was on the scale of your left arm not liking your right arm and then beginning a process of eventual amputation. But this would  include a period of cigarette burning and razor slashing to get the process rolling.   Continue reading “Confederate Soldiers are American Veterans by Act of Congress”

July 7, 2015 Democrats are going hard after a right-wing hero this week, with plans to put language on the House floor that some have deemed the “Cliven Bundy amendment.”

Rep. Ruben Gallego of Arizona plans to introduce an amendment to the House fiscal 2016 spending bill for the Department of the Interior and the Environmental Protection Agency that would block the government from issuing grazing permits to people with unpaid grazing fees.   Continue reading “House Democrats Are Planning to Go After Cliven Bundy in Spending-Bill Fight”

Freedom Outpost – by Tim Brown

Communist Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called for more gun control following the murder of Kathryn Steinle at the hands of an illegal alien using a federal agent’s gun. She even said that it is a “moral responsibility” that Congress has to act. What she failed to put at the forefront was acting with regard to illegal aliens.

“Last week, in San Francisco, our city suffered our own senseless act of gun violence with the killing of Kathryn Steinle, and our thoughts and prayers are very much with her family,” she said. “Today, we must do more as a nation to prevent dangerous people from getting easy access to guns. And Congress has a moral responsibility to act. What is so unclear? What do they not understand about that?   Continue reading “Pelosi: Congress Has a Moral Authority to Act on Gun Control – But Not on Illegal Aliens”

The Captain’s Journal

Via WRSA, Robert Gore posts this piece.  Robert’s place should be a regular stop through your daily or weekly reads, and I normally like the stuff that Gore writes, but I have to disagree on this, and profoundly so.  The problem is more than just missing the point.  Missing the point just happens to be missing a very important point, one that needs to be made.

The Greeks blame not just the banker cartel, but the Jew banker cartel for their state of affairs.  And to be fair, the global banker cartel is responsible for much of the financial woes we face now, even if indirectly.  But that’s the important point to be made.   Continue reading “Why Is Greece Collapsing?”

Our Confederate monuments are symbolic of our Southern heritage. To remove Confederate monuments is to erase our history. The monument is a reminder of the citizen-soldiers who fought for the Confederacy; soldiers who personified the best qualities of America. The preservation of liberty and freedom was the motivating factor in the South’s decision to fight the Second American Revolution. The tenacity with which Confederate soldiers fought underscored their belief in the rights guaranteed by the Constitution. These attributes are the underpinning of our democratic society and represent the foundation on which this nation was built.   Continue reading “Preserve the General Nathan Bedford Forrest Statue and Remains”

How often are parents aware of the ingredients contained in the multivitamin that they feed their children? We often believe what we hear without ever questioning what mass marketing and media has to say about a product.
