Fox News medical correspondent Dr. David Samadi recently appeared on Fox & Friends with Clayton Morris to speak about a new study that showed that marijuana is one of the least lethal drugs available.

Samadi was brought on to the show to discredit the study and speak about the horrors of marijuana, but he wasn’t very convincing, and ally made some outrageous claims that made him look completely ridiculous.   Continue reading “FOX News Doctor Says Marijuana Causes Heart Attacks, Crack Babies, And Overdoses”

It isn’t just construction workers losing their jobs to illegal aliens from Mexico who are getting shafted by the massive influx of cheap foreign workers from the Third World. Supposedly foreigners are needed to get the work done, despite a real unemployment rate that dwarfs the official rate. Meanwhile, California is importing foreigners to process unemployment claims:   Continue reading “California Imports Foreign Workers to Process Unemployment Claims”

Kicking off a charged visit to Washington that has sparked criticism both in the U.S. and Israel, Netanyahu told the American Israel Public Affairs Committee that “reports of the demise of the Israeli-U.S. relationship are not just premature, they are just wrong.”   Continue reading “Netanyahu Tells AIPAC That US-Israel Alliance Is Strong”

Introduction

For the purposes of this article, the “New left” is defined as a genuine group, party, or organization in the United States (US) that promotes Marxist revolutionary, Socialist principles in opposition to the Capitalist US government construct and society. This does not include anarchists, Democrats or independents. Also, the “Old Left” is celebrated as that great agitator and loosely revolutionary composite of unions, parties, and individuals, that historically brought us much needed reform from the 1900’s to the 1950’s. More in tune with this article is the contributions that the “New Left” provided through the Civil Rights movement and the anti-Vietnam war movement in the US along with the grassroots led social movement that gripped much of Europe during the 1960’s and 1970’s.   Continue reading “Does the US have a Left, Left?”

The other night Jimmy Kimmel decided to blast parents who don’t vaccinate their children.

He emphasized the difference between what these parents know and what, ahem, doctors know.

In between wisecracks, Kimmel made it clear that (pro-vaccine) doctors are very smart and knowledgeable people—as if this obvious fact had escaped the dissident parents.   Continue reading “Jimmy Kimmel’s ignorant vaccine doctors”

How do I know? It was obvious!

The nanosecond, AND I MEAN THE EXACT INSTANT the FCC was given control over the web to “regulate only how service providers throttle your bandwidth”, I could not get a secure connection to this web server. That has never happened before, and with this web site now being 8 years old, never seeing this cannot be attributed to a lack of experience. Now, when I log in, EVERY TIME it says “failed to establish secure connection” and after three or more crashed log in attempts, complete with matrix style gibberish on the screen crashed out to white, it allows an insecure connection (probably by riding me in on the desktop of a computer at the FCC) and I can at least get to this edit page. However, I cannot get anywhere else.   Continue reading “March 2 2015, Jim Stone Freelance is already nailed by the FCC”

American Jews sympathetic to Israel dominate key positions in all areas of our government where decisions are made regarding the Middle East. This being the case, is there any hope of ever changing U.S. policy? American Presidents as well as most members of Congress support Israel — and they know why. U.S. Jews sympathetic to Israel donate lavishly to their campaign coffers.

The answer to achieving an even-handed Middle East policy might lie elsewhere — among those who support Israel but don’t really know why. This group is the vast majority of Americans. They are well-meaning, fair-minded Christians who feel bonded to Israel — and Zionism — often from atavistic feelings, in some cases dating from childhood.   Continue reading “What Christians Don’t Know About Israel”

3 Leprosy Cases Confirmed in FloridaLand O’Lakes Patch – by Sherri Lonon

Health officials in Florida’s Volusia County have been battling a rare disease many people believe long eradicated.

Three people over the last five months have been confirmed to have leprosy, CBS news is reporting. In two of those cases, health officials believe the disease was contracted through contact with nine-banded armadillos.

The small, cat-sized creatures are not native to Florida, but are commonly found across most of the state, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reports. The creatures are aptly named after the nine breaks found in the leather-like armor that covers their bodies.   Continue reading “3 Leprosy Cases Confirmed in Florida”

US Representative Barry Loudermilk has said he thinks it should be up to parents whether or not they should get their children vaccinated against diseases like measles and mumps.

“I believe it’s the parents’ decision whether to immunize or not,” Loudermilk said, according to a video of the event you can view below. “And so I’m looking at our wife—most of our children, we didn’t immunize. They’re healthy. Of course, home schooling, we didn’t have to get the mandatory immunization.”   Continue reading “Which Politicians Won’t Vaccinate Their Children?”

Grandpa, some ninety plus years, sat feebly on the patio bench. He didn’t move just sat with his head down staring at his hands.

When I sat down beside him he didn’t acknowledge my presence and the longer I sat I wondered if he was OK.

Finally not wanting to disturb him but wanting to check on him at the same time, I asked if he was OK.

He raised his head and looked at me and smiled. “Yes, I’m fine , thank you for asking”, he said in a clear strong voice.   Continue reading “Grandpa’s Hands”

OKLAHOMA WEATHERMail.com

BOSTON (AP) — It has topped more than 100 inches of snow this season, but Boston is just short of surpassing its 20-year-old snowfall record — for now that is.

Sunday’s snowfall brought the city’s total to 103.9 inches. It needs just 3.7 inches more to break the 1995-1996 record of 107.6. Two small snowfalls, Tuesday night and Wednesday into Thursday, could be just what’s needed, said Frank Nocera, a National Weather Service meteorologist in the Taunton, Massachusetts, office. “The combination of those two events could put us over the record,” he said.   Continue reading “Boston falls short of season snow record – for now”
