The Washington Standard – by Tony Elliot

It appears Bill and Hillary Clinton are making plans to flee the country in the event Donald Trump wins this election. Reports are circulating that the Clintons have transferred 1.8 Billion dollars from the Clinton Foundation to the Qatar Central Bank, via a facilitation/abatement of JP Morgan Chase & Company for reasons not revealed.

This move of such a large sum of money to the country of Qatar says in itself, Hillary Clinton knows she is going to lose the election, and she doesn’t plan to allow herself to be prosecuted for various high crimes and treason under a Trump Administration.   Continue reading “Are the Obamas, the Clintons and the Bushes going to seek refuge in Countries that don’t Extradite to the US if Trump Wins?”

If there’s one thing we’ve learned so far from election 2016 it’s that the American people do not understand their government.

The perception is that we have a democracy, and that in this democracy we the people have vested power in our government which we exercise through the act of voting. ‘Throw the bastards out,’ has long since been the war cry of the impotent democrat, yet we no longer even have a democracy to cling to, and although most people choose to ignore it, this fact of life has been visible for decades.   Continue reading “In an Oligarchy, Voting is a Tool to Manufacture the Illusion of Consent”

It’s what most voters fear when they go in to fill out their ballots.

Recently, I paid for an item with the exact amount requested, including 89 cents in change. The salesgirl stared at the coins and clearly wasn’t sure what to do. Eventually, she reached for a calculator and began to total them up one at a time: 25 + 25 + 25 + 10 + 4. Having been schooled in the age prior to calculators, I’m accustomed to doing arithmetic in my head, but this particular instance evidenced a level of “dumbing down” over the last fifty years that was beyond what I had realised.   Continue reading “The Elimination of Reason”

A U.S. Department of Justice press release warns individuals who may serve as poll watchers hoping to prevent voter fraud could violate voter intimidation laws.

Upon first blush, what may appear to be a middling warning that voter fraud and abuse will not be tolerated by federal law enforcement also casts a shadow over various lawful election activities with broad language apparently intended to caution individuals from performing their duties.   Continue reading “DOJ Warns Efforts to Stop 2016 Voter Fraud Could ‘Violate’ Federal Law”

Insurers are raising the 2017 premiums for a popular and significant group of health plans sold through HealthCare.gov by an average of 25 percent, more than triple the increase for this year, according to new government figures.

The spike in average rates for the 38 states that rely on the federal marketplace created under the Affordable Care Act was announced by federal health officials on Monday. The figures serve broadly to confirm what has become evident piecemeal in recent months: Prompted by a burden of unexpectedly sick ACA customers, some insurers are dropping out while many remaining companies are struggling to cover their costs.   Continue reading “Obamacare premiums to go up by double digits”

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Former state Attorney General Kathleen Kane, once a rising star in state politics, left a courtroom in handcuffs on Monday after getting a 10- to 23-month sentence for a retaliation scheme a judge linked to her all-consuming ego.

Kane, 50, also was sentenced to eight years of probation by a Montgomery County judge, who said Kane’s need for revenge led her to break the law and then lie to a grand jury. Kane, who was accused of leaking secret investigative files to embarrass a rival prosecutor, was convicted of perjury and obstruction.   Continue reading “Ex-attorney general sentenced to jail, then cuffed in court”

The political organization of Virginia Gov. Sanctuary cities continue to be a problem for ICE, as they refuse to follow the law that ICE tries to enforce.  Considering the number of immigrants coming into the United States without proper vetting, this is a dire situation for all American citizens.

Until I read this article, and I viewed the map below I had no idea how many sanctuary cities there are in the US.  This map gives you a chance to see if you are close to one, or if, in fact, you live in one.   Continue reading “Sanctuary Cities Continue To Obstruct Enforcement, Threaten Public Safety. Do you remember when Homeland Secretary Jeh Johnson said that the united States’ borders were “not open to illegal migration,” and that he would “send you back consistent with our laws and values”? How about when Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah said something similar? No? Well, knowing that Obama and his administration are not exactly fixed on executing immigration laws, the release of 52,000 illegal kids into the population in fiscal year 2016 should come as no surprise.   Continue reading “52,000 Illegal Kids Released into the US by Obama in FY2016”
