Yesterday, the South Dakota House of Representatives passed House Bill 1072 by a 37 –30 vote. Sponsored by Representative Lynne DiSanto (R-35), HB 1072 would remove the requirement to obtain a permit in order to lawfully carry a firearm for self-defense. This important pro-self-defense legislation is a big step forward in allowing South Dakotans to be better able to defend themselves and their loved ones without having to obtain a government issued permit. HB 1072 now moves to the South Dakota Senate where it will await a committee referral. Continue reading “South Dakota: House Passes Constitutional/Permitless Carry Legislation”

A Chinese-American businessman, who was ousted and convicted for his role in an illegal fundraising plot between China and the Clintons, made a secret tape because he feared being assassinated over what he knew. Portions of that tape were just released to the Daily Mail.
Before the Washington Post turned into a propaganda arm for the Clintonian deep state they used to expose them. In 1996, the DNC and the Clinton administration were exposed in an illegal campaign finance scheme, known as Chinagate. China’s role in this campaign finance scheme was exposed when Bob Woodward and Brian Duffy of The Washington Post published a story stating the Department of Justice investigation into the fund-raising activities had uncovered evidence that agents of China sought to direct contributions from foreign sources to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) before the 1996 presidential campaign. It is no longer a secret that antibiotic-resistant bacteria, commonly known as superbugs, are on the rise. This has many in the medical community gravely concerned. One of the greatest causes fueling this epidemic is the indiscriminate overuse of antibiotics.
In 2015, in an attempt to address the problem, the White House released a plan to half inappropriate outpatient use of antibiotics by 2020. This is an ambitious and laudable goal, but with 2020 just around the corner, one that is not likely to come to fruition. When most people imagine their golden years, they don’t envision spending the last decades of their life in a federal prison, but for 56-year-old Samuel Girod, that threat is very real — thanks to the FDA. Girod is facing 68 years in jail for the simple crime of creating his own all-natural homemade products. Father to 12 and grandfather to 25, Girod has been facing a 12-count indictment since 2015. Cannon Ball, ND — Heavily militarized police and National Guard forces moved in to raid camps at Standing Rock on Thursday morning, with hundreds of riot gear-clad officers marching in formation to clear camps of water protectors, journalists, and anyone firmly entrenched to oppose the Dakota Access Pipeline.

A European parliament delegation that attempted to enter the besieged Gaza Strip to assess the residual damage of Israel’s 2014 military offensive was denied entry by Israeli authorities today.
According to a statement released by the European Parliament’s Delegation for relations with Palestine, Israeli authorities told the group that their entry was denied owing to the fact that only humanitarian workers and diplomats accredited by the Israeli government or the Palestinian Authority (PA) are allowed access to Gaza, which has been under an Israeli military blockade for a decade. All the major Jewish activist groups in America—including the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS)—have come out in opposition to the new deportation guidelines announced by the Trump administration—but continue to back Israel’s deportation rules, which are far stricter and openly racial in nature.
The new Trump administration rules, announced February 21, directed his administration to enforce the nation’s immigration laws more aggressively, unleashing the full force of the federal government to find, arrest, and deport those in the country illegally, regardless of whether they have committed serious crimes. Small numbers of Chinese arrived in Mexico centuries ago as servants of Spanish merchants. A far larger number, perhaps 60,000, came at the end of the 19th and beginning of the early 20th century, fleeing poverty and hardship in southern China’s Canton region. They called Mexico “Big Lusong,” in contrast to “Little Lusong,” which was the Philippines.
The U.S. government barred Chinese immigration in 1882, so many of the Chinese migrants aimed to use Mexico as a springboard, but in the end most stayed in Mexico despite hardships. Continue reading “Chinese in Mexico: A little-known history”
