Bill Paxton has died at 61.
The beloved actor and filmmaker, known for his roles in “Titanic,” “Aliens” and ‘Twister,” passed away on Saturday after experiencing complications from surgery, according to TMZ.

A budget deficit that is projected to hit $1.9 billion by the summer of 2017 has forced Brown to recommit to balancing the state’s budget, and one area facing cuts is financial aid for middle income college students, reports KCRA. Ann Cameron, an author of 15 children’s books, cured her Stage 4 cancer with carrot juice only. She states, “I believe from personal experience that carrots can cure cancer – and rapidly, without chemotherapy, radiation, or other dietary changes.”

NEW ORLEANS — A man who allegedly plowed into a crowd enjoying the Krewe of Endymion parade on Saturday in the Mid-City section of New Orleans is being investigated for driving while intoxicated, police said.

PORTLAND, Ore. — The leader of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge takeover returned to Oregon Friday.
Ammon Bundy was booked into the Multnomah County Jail just before 7 p.m.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Friday showed no sign of backing down in his high-profile battle with the sheriff of Travis County over her “sanctuary” policy. He aims to hit recalcitrant officials on multiple fronts.

Malloy declared Connecticut a sanctuary state.
